Chanda Mulenga sat in the bus seat ...reading the letter over and over.He couldn't believe that his father was forcing him to marry a girl he had no eyes for ....one that he did not love. He knew his father wanted to preserve the Lubembaland cultures and traditions but his way of doing it was wrong .
Even though he was the rebellious one and could have gone against his father easliy...he had to admit there where some perks to marrying an African girl. His new wife would cook, clean and do all he requested of her. It was the perfect plan. And then his city girlfriend, Anaiece would have a maid when they got married.
Staring outside the window of the bus he could see the vast land, green and untamed ,with a Smile he knew he was home on African soil...he wondered how much had changed since he had been away.
