"What do you see?"
Josh asks the man who sits beside him, staring out the window. He wants to see, he simply wishes he could see the marvels the world has to offer.
"I see birds."
Tyler answers, coughing in between his words. He can tell Josh wants more, he can sense it. So, Tyler gives him more.
"Beautiful birds, with gorgeous blue wings. It's almost majestic to see them cross the sky; like shooting stars in a galaxy that never seems to be big enough."
Josh listens. Tyler continues.
"They're heading south, it's fall, therefore, the birds go where it's hot for the winter. But don't worry, they'll be back. I can see little birds and big birds, birds of all sizes, blue and black and, oh, I think I see a few whites ones!"
Josh is smiling, he's always been very lonely. That car accident was no accident, he was fed up. But Tyler is bringing a light to his eyes and he's definitely aware.
"Their wings are so big compare to their little bodies and their tiny heads, yet they have the power and strengh to fly, far far away. I'd like to be a bird, what about you, Josh?"
"I think I'd like that too."
