Tyler sighed as he heard the rain. He loved it, but today he felt sicker than before. He knew Josh was expecting something, what he saw. But he didn't want to speak, he just wanted endless sleep.

"Tyler, is everything alright?"

"Of course, why wouldn't it be?"

"Because you've been sitting up and staring at the window for 45 minutes, usually you would have said something by now."

"Right."

Tyler almost forgot, he only got to sit up for an hour a day. He didn't want to waste it.

"What do you see?"

"I see buildings. Tall, very tall, skyscrapers. The kind where all these important meetings we hear about on television happens. You know the ones?"

"I don't believe what's on tv."

Tyler chuckled, neither did he.

"Raised well, I see?

"By the best. What do you hear?"

Tyler's hearing was better than most, he picked up on the smallest of sounds. Of course, it had to be this way, that's how he'd get around.

"I hear rain and something else. Can you guess what it is, Josh?"

Josh listened carefully and soon enough heard the little chants from the furry animals.

"Birds! The birds are back!"

Josh's joy was enough to bring a smile to Tyler's face, cheer him up on any rainy day.

"They are, the birds are back."
