The moment finally came, Josh was looking out the window and expecting to see a beautiful park, to see birds flying around tall trees. But instead, he saw a brick wall. He didn't understand.

"Nurse!"

She walked in and looked at him, seeing the horror on his face.

"Where's Tyler? And what happened to the park?"

"Mr. Joseph is gone, he left yesterday but he told me to write this down and give it to you. Also, there is no park, I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about."

"The one Tyler saw outside the window."

"Mr. Joseph is blind, has been all his life."

She handed him the note and left, leaving Josh shocked and confused. He unfolded the piece of paper and read it:

Josh,

Sorry, I didn't say goodbye, I just really can't. Now that you know the truth, that I didn't see any of these things and I just have an overactive imagination I guess, you can decide whether or not you still want to see me. If you do, call me.

Tyler

Josh smiled, he loved that boy and nothing would change that. In fact, his blindness only made him more beautiful through Josh's eyes. Everything his mind had created was pure poetry. Josh left later that week and the moment he got inside, he picked up the phone nad dialed Tyler's number.

"Hello?"

"Tyler?"

"Josh!"

"I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You're beautiful and you might not see it but I can, so please, come here."

"I'm on my way. Oh and Josh?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you too."

And yes, you guess it. The two boys did meet, they fell in love and Josh showed Tyler the world he's never seen. Tyler showed Josh what creativity can do. A year from that phone call, Tyler and Josh were cuddling by a fire and a Christmas tree, the snow covered the grass when Tyler pulled out that very box he described. They got married, they were happy. Happier than they ever thought possible. And every night, Tyler would tell Josh a story that made him wonder why he ever wanted to leave this world.
