Let's Be Us Without Being Us Pt. 2

This feeling I'm feeling is a little foreign and new
I feel overwhelmed yet I'm not sad or blue
Is it true that it is a possibility we might become us?
I never intended it to be that way and don't want to fuss
Discuss or think about things in the that matter
If we become us, our aftermath will be a disaster
No happily ever after, no fairy tales or Wonderland's
No feeling high in the sky like Tinker Bell and Peter Pan
Please understand that I care for you in the deepest way possible
But us being us is simply not an option
Caution, they're some boundaries that need to be set, no more getting over there
No more getting near, for this conspiracy is enough
It will kill me if we become us
It will be three years gone to waste
And I'm not ready to face commitment, it's not something I need to embrace
In case you don't know, my emotions don't determine anything
We can still be us without us getting in between
Don't cause a scene when I let you down gently
It's the best I can do, at least congratulate me
Please don't concentrate on me, I'm feeling a little anxious
It seems like everyone wants us and it's making me cuss
Not trust, for I already have issues
Once we stop being us altogether, I'm gonna use a hella tissues
Complete your first priority, but I can't help you with that
Some of these teenage emotions are triggering a heart attack
Why is it that others care about us and I  don't?
When it comes to being in love, I'm prone
It's something that I haven't experienced before
I am socially awkward but you still have your reasons
I don't understand, I'm more unpredictable than the seasons
I'm bleeding shame from my heart
Because I don't want us to tear us apart
No setting off sparks, we know that they fly
But I don't want us setting them off, instead the sparks should die
I don't need us to happen, we are gonna end sooner or later
And then I will lose it and sink like a bottomless crater
I wish that life will go on and take it's course
But it's out of our control, no human impact or force
Let us be us and let's not be us because we will no longer exist
If anything, let's savor us for a little while and let's not be to quick
