Chapter 14

Chapter 14 (?) Before the chapter starts, I just wanna thank you guys for reading this book! I hope it's not shitty xD And omg i'm watching the RDMA's and Jordan Smith's voice is so amazing holy moly. He deserves a standing ovation. And Cake by the ocean was craaaazyy :3 Also when in Pharrell's speech for Gwen Stefani, he mentions Blake I swear he was blushing hah! BTW SPOILERS :P

Also in the last chapter I mentioned Kate tanning. She can tan because sometimes California can be slightly sunny during winter. Do correct me if i'm wrong ;)

"well? Whats up between you two?" Kate asked us while walking into a medical store. 

Why a medical store though? She's probably sick or something. Hopefully it's not bad.

"Umm. Nothing much, I guess. Well our school has started 'bathroom pass'. So we have restriction to pee. It's not like there is the chamber of secrets in there." I told her. I felt so open with her around. She's like my twin. 

"Wow someone's really sassy huh" she said paying the guy behind the counter.  " What about you Harry?"

"Um... I don't know? I've grown tall, I guess." he said with his hands at the back like a little kid.

"Someone's shy huh? Anyways lets go to starbucks before we go home. Don't worry I'll pay." she said taking a right turn where we should have gone straight.

I've never been to starbucks. So I have no clue what to buy.

"I guess you guys have never been to Starbucks by the looks on your face. I know lou is a tea guy. What about you Haz? I'm going for..." she kept rambling but I lost her after she said Haz? Yo, girl, only I can call him that. Back off, he's mine.

"Louiiisss, I ordered you a chocolate chip mocha. (I always get that lmao)

After a drink and a tour around the beach, we finally reached home, I mean Kate's house. I loved it. It smelled like bubblegum now. Kate's mom loved Bubblegum and ocean scented candles. And I've grown used to it. Kate's mum and my mom were getting dinner ready, I bet Kate's younger brother and Harry's and my younger sisters were playing somewhere. So we went up to Kate's room which also smelt like bubblegum. She had put up faery lights which glowed blue and white. She removed her onesie from her dresser, her fav unicorn onesie, and told us to get comfortable while she changed.

It was very awkward. I was playing with her emoji pillow. I swear her room is goals. Then suddenly I felt a hand on my thigh. I never noticed I had huge thighs. Also Harry's hand are so huge and beautiful.

"Boo-bear. Look at me, love" that lovely, deep voice said. Harry was inches away from my face. Then he crashed his lips to mine. His lips were soft and pink. Never noticed that the first time he kissed me. He was great. I didn't even notice Kate standing there trying not to look. She finally cleared her throat. She was awkwardly standing there, her hair in a messy bun, and her cheeks flushed.

"So, nothing much between you two huh?I told you guys to make yourself home, but I didn't expect you guys to take it that seriously. I sensed the sexual tension between you two that time." she said giggling a bit " you guys are per-fect" she continued in a sing-a-song voice.

Then her phone rang. I could hear a voice which sounded like a guy's. Ooooh she's got a man already.

"Yes I did buy them... I hope it works.... I can't believe they did this to me. I think that's why they treat me like that. Like I should be perfect at everything. I mean i'm not her right? Maybe a little obviously. But I'm not her twin.... Yeah, I do.. Almost every night... Alright, yeah. Goodnight." and she hung up.

I guess Harry my genius little frog (yep) sensed the awkwardness, "i guess I'm gonna help down stairs. I'll call you guys when dinner's ready. I do like making food ya know.... Well- um- you don't care.. Bye" he said scrambling down the stairs.

"What the fuck Kate?" I said. She flinched a little when I swore, because I never do. "What is happening to you. You swore to never keep stuff from me." I said.

"Yeah you too. You didn't tell me about you and Harry." she snapped back, tears welling in her eyes.

"Well, that's not a big deal as antidepressants." I sassed back. It hurts to fight with her, but I couldn't help it.

"I'm sorry Louis. I sometimes have to process stuff first. Like how about the fact that I have depression and anxiety. The whole package. Or how about the fact that I just got to know that I had an older sibling who was way better than me at everything, but then killed himself. Not everything revolves around you Louis. Now I go to a bloody boring therapy session and take antidepressants. And did you know my 8 year old sister knew about my older brother before I did. No of course you didn't. Because you are too caught up in yourself." she spit, her eye color changing from hazel to a dark brown because of the tears spilling out of her eyes.

Oh my god. I can't believe it.

Thank god Harry called us for dinner. I ran down the stairs without waiting for Kate as she slid down to the floor , sobbing.

I hated this. I hated spending my first day here leaving my best friend on the floor sobbing. But I had to cool down myself.

She's right. I am too caught up in myself.
