Jessie's POV:
I woke up in the morning dreading the party later on and not wanting to get up for my swimming practice. I looked at my clock and saw that it was 6 O'clock, "Ughh it's so early." I grumbled into my pillow.
"Jess Sweetheart, are you up yet? I'm going to have to take you because your father has to sort something out." My mum called through the door.
I dragged myself out of bed and opened my door, "Yeah I'm up, give me twenty minutes." I shouted back.
I went to my wardrobe and grabbed my trackie bottoms, a tank top and my favourite jumper and chucked them on my bed. I went to my draws and chose my favourite hot pink bikini and slipped my pyjamas off. I threw them onto my pillow and slipped on my bikini then made my bed and pulled on my clothes over the top. After going to the bathroom I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs.
"Mum, come on we need to leave or we'll be late." I called into the kitchen.
She came through the open doorway carrying her keys, "Yeah I'm here, come on let's go or you'll be late for swimming."
"Remind me again why I have such early swimming practices?" I groaned.
"You're the one who wanted to have it affect as little of your social life as possible. Stop complaining and get in the car." My mum ordered.
Once we got to the pool I jumped out the car and grabbed my bag, "Bye mum, Charlie's giving me a lift coz we're going shopping and then to a party later so I'm staying at hers." I shut the door before she had a chance to respond.
By now it was ten to seven and my practice started at seven so I took my time walking inside.
"Hey Jessie." Greeted Holly, my mum's friend who works on reception. "I think it's great that you're so committed to your swimming."
"Morning, yeah well I love swimming so the early starts are worth it." I said as I walked towards the changing rooms.
I went into a cubicle and stripped until I was standing in my bikini. I searched through my bag until I found my goggles and tied them around my wrist then shoved all of my clothes inside. After I left the cubicle I decided to just leave my bag on the pool side seeing as it was unlikely that anyone was going to be here at this time of the morning.
"Morning Coach." I greeted cheerfully. All I got was a grunt in response because he hates doing these early morning training sessions.
Half way through my practice I noticed Charlie was standing on the pool side grinning from ear to ear.
Once Coach told me I was done for today I got out of the pool and made my way towards where she was standing beside my bag.
"What's got you so happy?" I inquired.
"Oh nothing... Well I actually spoke to Jake who happens to be outside with Troy." She told me with a wink.
"Right, so..." I trailed on.
"So he asked me whether I was going to their party tonight and I said yeah I was and then he told me that he couldn't wait to see me there." She squealed whilst jumping up and down. "Have I told you that you look hot in that bikini? Well if you wore that to the party Troy or any other boy wouldn't be able to keep their hands off you."
"You shouldn't talk to them, you know their dangerous. I would never wear a bikini to a party unless it was a pool party but even so you know that's not me." I said as she handed me my towel and started to pull me back towards reception.
I ended up going through reception in my bikini and a towel whilst still being dragged by Charlie. "Wait hold on you never said Jake and Troy were out there. There is no way I am going out in a bikini and towel in front of them!" I argued.
