Surprise Revealed- Chapter 27

Jessie's POV:

"Oh Troy that's so sweet!" I exclaimed while looking round and all the blankets and cushion inside a big tent he had laid out along with the fairy lights hanging from the trees and around the tent.

"Happy six month anniversary Kitten." He whispered in my ear and kissed my cheek.

Troy led me into the tent and zipped it up behind us to keep it warm inside.

Inside already laid out was a mini picnic consisting of some pizza, cocktail sausages, sausage rolls and other snacks and drinks.

I sat down leaning against the mound of cushion and Troy sat down next to me pulling a big fluffy blanket out and laid it over the two of us.

He pulled out his laptop and put on Frozen, "I love this film!" I squealed in excitement.

"I know that's why I bought it so you could keep it afterwards." He told me.

I reached over to the food and pulled it closer to us so that it was eier to eat during the film. Soon I began eating the pizza along with all the other food.

"Pass me a bit of pizza would you, before you eat it all." Troy teased causing me to blush.

I picked up a bit and lead it straight to his mouth.

He wrapped his am around me and we leaned back to watch the film.

About half way through the film I started to get tired, afterall it had been a long day full of the activities that Troy had planned. Before I knew it I was leaning my head on Troy and slowly drifting off to sleep after feeling the heaviness of my eye lids taking over.

Troy's POV:

After Jess had fallen asleep I pulled the blanket so it was covering her completely and watched the film until the end then turned it off.

I adjusted her so she was lying on the cushions like a make shift mattress and laid next to her making sure she was still covered by the blanket.

It wasn't long before Jess had rolled over so she was tucked into my side.

My phone ringing broke me out of my peaceful thoughts, I dug it out of my pocket trying not to wake Jess up and answered it to find out it was Jake.

"What's up?" I said immediately.

"Justin's gang have been getting braver and ambushed a bunch of our guys luckily it's nothing serious but their a bit bruised up but will be be back to normal in no time." He explained.

"Can you deal with it for me, I'm with Jess." I asked.

"Yeah sure man I was just ringing you to let you know." He told me.

"Okay thanks, I've got to go." I said as Jess started to wake up.

I put my phone down next to us and moved the hair out of her face, "You alright Kitten?"

"Yeah just a bit sleepy still." She said huskily having just woke up.

She turned her body so she was leaning against me a lying on my chest and moved my arm so it was around her and in her lap allowing her to play with my fingers.

"Thanks for today Babe, I've loved every minute of it." She told me.

"Anything for you, you deserve a treat every now and again especially after all you've been through recently." I spoke honestly.

Jess turned herself so she was now facing me and took hold of my hand again, "I love you so much! Thank you for sticking with me every step of the way during my treatment, I couldn't imagine going through it if i didn't have you."
