Party- Chapter 3

Jessie's POV:

Charlie and I were eating the pizza that we ordered so we could eat it as we got ready. Both our dresses were hung on the front of her wardrobe whilst we were doing our hair and makeup.

"So what time does the party actually start?" I asked.

She hesitated before responding, "Ummm I think Jake said it starts between seven thirty and eight O'clock. Can you straighten my hair for me?"

"Sure and then after can you put half of mine up and then curl the ends?" I bargained.

"Yeah come on." She said impatiently.

I sat behind her and began straightening her hair whilst we had Capital Fm blasting in the background. I started singing softly along with the radio, "Ya know you're a really good singer Jessie. I think you should try out for one of the talent shows or something." Charlie complimented.

There was a knock at the door but Charlie was stuffing her face with some pizza so I shouted, "Come in!"

It turned out to be Charlie's mum, Danielle but I always call her Dani. "Hey girls I just wanted to bring your girls some drinks up so Jessie here's your Coke and Charlie Hun here's your Sprite. I'll just leave these on the desk, have fun you two." Dani told us.

I laughed, "Oh I love your mum, she's so awesome! Right your hairs done I'm just gonna go to the loo, grab my drink and a piece of the pizza."

"Yeah sure I'll just get all my makeup out so it's ready when we're done with our hair." She replied.

I walked out into the hallway and went across the landing into the bathroom which she shares with her older brother Trent.

Just as I was about to go into the bathroom Trent walks out of his, "Hey Jess, so you going to that party tonight?" He flirted like he does every time I'm around.

"Yeah me and Charlie are going but right now I'm going to the loo so bye." I ended the conversation and as I shut the door behind me I heard him laughing as he went back into his room.

Once I was done I literally sprinted back into her room just to get away from Trent. As I walked into the room Charlie asked, "What happened? Why were you in such a rush?"

"You brother that's the reason." I gave her the look that she knew meant that he was flirting with me as per usual; Trent is a player who flirts with anything with boobs.

I grabbed my drink and pizza and then sat in front of Charlie so she could start on my hair. She made it so half of it was up and then showed me to see if I liked it and then continued to curl the ends like I wanted. We decided to cover all the mirrors in her room so we don't know what we look like so it'll be a surprise for when we look at the end.

"Right done. Okay makeup time." She finalised.

I twisted around so we were now face to face with each other so we could take turns in doing the others makeup.

I wanted a smoky eye to go with my dress where Charlie wanted red. I went with a light lipstick whereas Charlie again went with blood red to set her whole look off.

I'm borrow a pair of black heels that Charlie bought last week and she's wearing mine coz we decided that each other's suited the other person better.

We spent an hour doing our make up so we had to hurry up and get dressed or we were gonna be late for the party.

We slipped our dresses on and then our heels and grabbed our clutches and made our way downstairs.

Dani appeared and started taking our picture before we even made it to the bottom of the stairs. "Ughh mum do you have to?" Charlie complained.
