Jessie’s POV:
“Party tonight girl!” Charlie screamed in my ear as Troy and I arrived at school on Friday morning.
I was realised from the hospital Monday morning and was told to spend a few days resting in bed so today was the first day I was back at school.
My parents and Doctor decided that I would be starting my Chemo at the beginning of next week so tonight was my last chance to have some fun for a while until my chemo was over.
“I know I’m so excited! After school we can head straight over to Troy and Jakes then I can finally give you your present and afterwards get ready for the party.” I said excitedly.
“Yay! I’ve been waiting all week for you to give it to me.” She praised.
I felt Troy come up behind me from where he was chatting with Jake and wrap an arm around my waist. “Come on Kitten the bells gone already.” He said after kissing my hair softly.
Troy walked me to my classroom then headed off to his own promising to see me at lunch. Charlie walked in behind me after saying her own goodbye to Jake.
The morning passed by quickly and soon enough we were headed off to the canteen. We got our food and headed straight to our usual table to wait for everyone else to arrive.
Charlie and I were chatting away and eating our pasta when the guys started to appear one by one with trays piled up with their lunch.
Blaze and Roy appeared at the same time and Roy sat down in the seat next to me. Roy, in the past few weeks has become like an older brother to me ever since he took care of me that day at school.
“Trying to steal my girl are we Roy?” A voice said from behind us.
I was pulled from my chair and placed into a lap.
“Of course, I mean who wouldn’t want this.” Roy joked.
“Oh yeah obviously you’re just so irresistible.” I played along and winked at him.
Troy’s arms wrapped around me pinning me to him on the chair. “You’re mine Kitten.” He growled possessively in my ear.
“I know and I wouldn’t want anyone else. I love you.” I cooed.
“Mmm love you too.” He grumbled.
We carried on eating and made final plans for Charlie’s party tonight.
Troy and Jake said she could have it at theirs because there would be no adults around and there’s plenty of space.
“You got something pretty to wear tonight?” Troy asked me.
I turned around on his lap so we were now face to face.
“Yep, I think you’re going to like it.” I grinned.
“Good. I’m sure I’ll like anything you put on.” He replied.
“You’ll have to wait and see.” I giggled.
“Are you feeling okay today? Remember you can’t drink tonight.” He asked worriedly.
“Babe don’t worry I’m feeling fine today.” I cupped his cheek in my hand rubbing it softly. “I know, I’m sticking to soft drinks and water.”
“I always worry about you, you know that.” He said softly.
“I know and I love that you worry about me but I’m fine. I’m not going anywhere.” I assured him.
“Good because I don’t want you to.” He said looking me directly in the eyes. My heart fluttered at hearing just how much he cares about me.
I leaned forward and pressed our lips together and gradually the kiss got heavier and it felt like it was just us to in the entire universe.
