James heard the maids entering his house and leaving, but he didn't bother getting up, he told Florence yesterday that wouldn't get up to open the door, so she gave them a key. He needed a lot of sleep to kick off the jet lag,
He moved in his bed around 1:00 pm, when he heard the sound of a key clicking. He raised his eyebrows in confusion, the maids left a while ago? Who was invading his apartment now?
He rose a little in his bed to look outside, and he smiled inevitably when he saw a set of red hair moving through his apartment, he relaxed back on the bed and sighed.
He missed his friends so much.
He closed his eyes and laid back, a few seconds and he heard soft footsteps in the room.
He felt the bed dip next to him and then felt her head on his shoulder.
James opened his eyes to see Sophie laying next to him with her eyes closed, and she was wearing sweatpants and a hoodie, it was November and the weather was pretty cold. Her red hair was sprawled around her on his pillow, and he wanted to stroke it because it looked so soft, she had her head on his shoulder and her hand touching his arm softly.
" Well, good morning to you too." He said smirking and watched as her mouth corners rose up in a smile.
" I didn't know you were awake." She said with her eyes still closed.
" I didn't know you had a key to my place." James said still smirking, and Sophie opened one eye to look at him and grinned.
" You don't know a lot of things." She said fully opening her eyes and reaching her hand to ruffle James's hair.
" Apparently, shouldn't you be at work?" He asked moving to sleep on his side to so he could see her clearly.
" It's Saturday." She said in an obvious tone that made me feel like an idiot.
" Wow, I lost track of days." James said running his hand through his hair.
" I can help you, today is Saturday, tomorrow is Sunday, th-" Sophie was saying and he glared playfully at her.
" That's not what I meant." James said smirking.
" I know." She said giggling, and for an unknown reason, her giggle made his heart race.
" Come on, get up and take a shower, we only have an hour and a half to be ready." She said nudging my leg with hers.
" Only an hour and a half? That's like forever." James said rubbing his face.
" Well I'm going to take an hour to dress, and then I'm going to come here and help you unpack the presents you got us from the suitcases and put them in the car because you are driving me to Lily's, is that okay with you? Is everything I said okay with you? There isn't anything missing, right? Because you got us presents? You got your best friends in the whole world presents from Italy, right James? Say yes before I kill you, sweetheart." Sophie said inching closer to James with every question, and glaring at him very seriously.
" Yes, yes, I got you presents, get away from me, woman." He said shoving her so she laid on her back again on the bed as she grinned.
" I knew why I befriended you." Sophie said patting James's back as he sat on the bed with his back facing her.
" How kind of you to say." He said sarcastically as he got up from his place and walked towards his bathroom.
" Don't take long." She shouted as he closed the door.
" Get out of my bed." He shouted from behind the door, then she heard water running.
" Yeah right." She muttered pulling the cover on her body and closing her eyes.
