Sophie's Point of View.
It's been two days since I was released from the hospital, of course I wasn't completely healed, my bruises were a little bit faint by now, but my ribs were still hurting like hell, and I couldn't walk without help, but the doctor said I just need to rest at home, and after a week or two, I will be fine.
Of course since I have an annoyingly protective family, they completely refused I stay on my own those days, so I was staying at Uncle Dylan's place until I get better, in my old room.
Rose noticed I was bored these two days out of my mind because I couldn't leave and move much, Andrew passed by us to check up on me after work, before he headed to his own place, but the rest of the day I was completely alone. She invited all of our friends to dinner tonight, and Lily came early to help me dress up.
"And I told Andrew I needed to have lilies at the wedding, because it would be a nice pun about my name, but he prefers tulips and thinks they are more romantic." Lily was complaining as she did my hair, which I was too lazy to brush.
"Actually Lils, I like tulips much better, I will have to agree with Andy there." I said and he chose that minute to enter the room, we left the door open as we finished dressing up long ago and were just putting on make up.
"What will you have to agree with Andy on?" He said grinning as he pecked Lily's lips, and kissed me on my head.
"Nothing, she was just saying she will talk to you about having lilies at our wedding." Lily said grinning cheekily, throwing me a glare when he wasn't looking.
"Yeah, she's totally lying." I said applying some mascara as Lily huffed.
"Stupid family." She muttered as she left the room and headed downstairs, me and Andrew laughed.
"How are you feeling today?" He said crossing is arms and leaning against the doorway.
"My ribs are better, although they still hurt, but I still get dizzy every now and then and it's terribly annoying." I said closing my make up kit and turning in my chair to face him.
"The doctor said it's perfectly normal because of the trauma that happened to your head, you just have to endure it until it passes." Andrew said in a soft tone and I nodded.
"That's what I'm doing, now help me get downstairs, I'm all done here." I said standing up and Andrew came to my side, wrapping his arm around my waist as I wrapped mine around his neck, and he walked me step by step, till we reached the living room, and he sat me down on the couch.
Only Ian and my family were there, James and Alex still hadn't made their entrance.
"I don't know why they behave like this, Dylan, the coming generations seems to have a bit of disrespect to the rules. I feel sorry for the world." Ian said shaking his head, like the wise man he pretends to be in front of Dylan.
That's why my uncle and his wife love Ian the most.
"Don't stretch it, it's not disrespect, they are late for 5 minutes for god's sake." Andrew said smirking about Alex and James being late.
"4 minutes and 40 seconds, please, hello all." Alex said grinning making a grand entrance, he headed for Uncle Dylan and gave him a quick hug, and kissed Rose on her cheek, then sat down next to Ian.
"I see the most prestigious of us hasn't arrived yet." He said noticing James's absence.
"The most prestigious out of you was bringing flowers to the most beautiful lady out there." James said entering the room looking like he was just out of a Hollywood movie. He was wearing light beige pants with a blue shirt, that seemed to give his eyes justice, his hair was neatly trimmed, but his beard grew a little which I absolutely loved.
