Sophie's POV.
"What about this one?" I held up a dress to show Lizzie, but she shook her head as she did the last 20 times.
"Too revealing." She curtly said and I sighed.
"Liz, you have a great body, what's the problem with too revealing?" I said skimming the shop with my eyes for Lily, god knows where she went.
"Sophie, you don't know how hard it is with my brothers, if they saw me wearing this, they would cancel my date, and I really want to go." Liz said making me groan.
"You're grown up, they should just be mature and let you do whatever you want, I can't believe they control what you wear too." I said cursing them in my head.
"It's not control, they're not that bad, they just worry too much for me, and I can't blame them since Mum died and Dad is never here." She shrugged walking towards a different rack.
"But you stayed abroad for nearly 4 years, and you did just fine, what more proof do they want?"
"Well, it's not something they can just stop doing, it's in their nature, trust me, I get mad too, but I ignore it after a while because they really do care." She said and I made a mental note to talk to Ian about this, this is not right.
"Well then, tell me more about the guys you're going out with." I said and she smiled instantly.
"He's an intern with me at White&Co, he's so sweet, Soph, I haven't felt like this for a long while, I really hope this date goes well."
"And I hope we find a dress before I die of starvation." I sighed and looked at my phone seeing it's nearly 4:00 pm and I haven't had anything to eat since breakfast. Today is Saturday, and as usual, we're meeting up with the guys at Rico's tonight.
"Hey, look what I found!" Lily came finally to the rescue, holding a green colored dress, that looked just right for Liz.
"Oh god, I love it, I'm gonna try it on." She snatched it out of Lily's hand and left towards the fitting room.
"Finally!" I sighed dramatically leaning against a rack.
"Drama queen much?" Lily asked smirking at me.
"Oh well, you know me." I shrugged not bothering to defend myself.
Liz emerged from the fitting room looking as gorgeous as ever.
"That's the one." Liz grinned and Lily smiled proudly of her choices.
"It really looks beautiful on you, Liz." I complemented her and she thanked me, turning around to look in the mirror.
Lily was the one who drove us here, so she dropped Liz off at her place, then asked me where I was going.
"Take me to Uncle Dylan's place, Andy told me he's down with the flu, I want to check up on him." I said and Lily nodded.
Half an hour later, I was ringing the bell as Lily pulled out of the driveway, headed for her place.
"Oh, Ms.Williams, what a pleasant surprise!" Alfred said welcoming me in with a warm smile.
"Hey Alfred, how are you doing?" I said stepping in the house.
"Fine, unlike Master Dylan, he has it really bad." He said shaking his head sadly and I nodded asking him where my uncle was.
"His study." He replied and I frowned.
If he was that sick, why wasn't he in his room, sleeping?
