Sophie's Pov.
I walked out of the bathroom feeling as the crisp air flew past my neck, I just finished showering after staying in the water for hours, just playing around. It rendered me exhausted, so I put on my pajamas and was headed for my sweet fluffy bed to take a nap before going to dinner with the guys.
I threw my towel on the chair and nearly jumped on the bed when I heard a knock on my door. I frowned and walked over to it, and flung it open, only to see a very distressed Andrew.
" Andy?! What's wrong?" I said inviting him in and closing the door.
" I can't find the ring, I think I forgot it." He said hitting his forehead with his hand and sitting on my bed.
I sighed in relief knowing nothing is seriously wrong.
" Andrew, you gave it to me so Lily won't see it between your stuff." I said putting a hand on his shoulder to calm him down.
He sighed and his shoulders slumped, I frowned at how he is, Andy is normally well collected, but now he looked in pieces. I sat next to him on bed and waited for him to talk.
" What if she says no?" He asked looking at me, and I don't know where it came from, but I could see fear in his eyes.
" She won't, why would you ever think that?"
" I just feel like I'm too late, we've been dating for forever now, Soph, what if she is bored of me?" He asked laying his back down on my bed and I sighed.
" Andrew, stop being such an idiot, Lily loves you more than anything in her life, it's very apparent in her eyes, and you may be too late but that won't be a reason for her to say no, for god's sake, Andy! I can't be wasting my time convincing you of this when I can be sleeping." I said crossing my arms and staring at him angrily, but he just stared at me like a confused puppy.
" Well, I'm convinced, but sleeping? Really?" He asked getting back to a seating position.
" Well, unlike you, I have nobody to have sex with, so yes, I'm going to sleep." I said bluntly and his confused look turned to a grimace.
" Ew, Soph, really? You had to bring that up?" He said standing up ready to leave.
" Oh, don't be such a baby, wake me up when you're ready to go to dinner." I said ushering him out of the door, getting ready to sleep.
" Fine, I will, have a nice nap." He said laughing at me, he kissed my forehead and left the room turning off the lights on his way.
I looked at the door for while after he left, why isn't it easy for me like it's easy for Andrew and Lily? They met in high school, fell in love with each other, and they are getting married soon. Why do I have to go through weird relationships and creepy guys to find the true one? Only to discover after all this time that I am falling in love with my best friend, who probably thinks of me like his sister.
I shook the thought off my head and turned on my side to sleep, smiling in comfort as the soft fabric of the covers tickled my skin. I closed my eyes and gave up to the drowsiness that was filling my mind.
My eyes were still closed but I could hear the annoying ring of my iphone, I groaned and put a pillow on my head but the ringing didn't go away. I huffed and snatched it from the nightstand, and answered the call without seeing who it is.
" What?!" I snapped.
" Woah woman, what did I ever do to you?" Alex's familiar voice
" Wake me up, what do you want?"
