Sophie's POV.
I moved my hand from under my head, where it rested as I was asleep, and moved it around pushing the cover tighter around me. I felt sun rays fall delicately on my skin warming it a little, so I opened my eyes slowly to soak in the light, when I noticed this was not my room.
I quickly got up in my place, causing all of my blood to rush and I actually was lightheaded for a few seconds. I squinted my eyes and looked around, the room looked familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I pushed the covers away and wiped my eyes, getting up from the bed. I looked at the blanket that was covering me, and immediately figured out where I was, and what happened last night.
James.
We kissed, we talked for a while and laughed, the weather was chilly so he went inside and grabbed me this blanket. I must have fell asleep by the pool and he carried me here.
I opened the door slowly and walked out, today was Sunday so James was supposed to be home.
I walked through the house till I reached the kitchen, where he was sitting sipping on his coffee.
He looked up at me and grinned immediately. We didn't talk about the kiss afterwards, but it was apparent it affected both of us.
"Good morning, sunshine." He said cheerfully and I glared at him as he chuckled.
"I know, I know, you're not a morning person, but I have good news, Dylan woke up a while ago and asked for both of you and Andrew, so I'm taking you to the hospital." He said and I noticed he was already dressed. I completely forgot about the fact that Dylan was in hospital, between the fact that I drank a lot of wine, and I kissed James, the day went by my mind.
"He's awake?! Is he alright? Did he talk to you?" I said in a hoarse voice, but with excitement in my voice.
"No, Rose did, she assured me he's alright though." James said smiling and I sighed in content sitting down next to him, instinctively resting my head on his shoulder.
"Would it be rude if I took your coffee?" I said in a sleepy voice and felt James's shoulder vibrate as he laughed.
"Take it, Soph, I'll make another one." He said and got up, and I immediately regretted taking his coffee because he got up and I missed his warmth.
We have to talk about that kiss.
But we have to visit Dylan first.
---------------------
We entered the hospital and saw Alex and Ian standing there, drinking coffee and chatting.
"Hey guys." I said as me and James walked their way.
"Good morning, we just saw Dylan, man looks fine, maybe even better than I look." Ian said and chuckled rubbing his eyes.
"You didn't get any sleep, did you?" James asked him and he shook his head.
"No, Liz was out all night and she forgot to call me, I was freaking out for hours before she showed up." He said angrily putting his hands in his pockets, and I looked at Alex remembering the conversation we had before about Liz, but he had a good nonchalant expression.
"Where was she?" I asked curiously and he sighed.
"Sleeping over at some friend's place, doesn't matter, should have told me or Danny." Ian said and I retorted back.
"She's not a kid anymore, Ian, she is allowed to spend the night out, doesn't have to take permission." I said defending the poor girl.
"I didn't say take permission, but at least let me know where she is, we're living together, I can't keep worrying about her all the time."
