" You worried us, buddy." James said patting Ian on the back and standing next to the bed.
" You sure did." Lily said sadly, she was sitting on the foot of Ian's bed.
" You wouldn't expect a guy as handsome as me to die this way, would you? Getting hit by a car is so boring." Ian said sarcastically, his voice tired and slightly out of breath, after all, he did just get out of a dangerous surgery.
" If you drive this fast again, you might be killed by a very angry lawyer." Andy said from his place on the couch, Charlie entered the room with a chart in his hand.
" I got your chart, I have all of your medicines, and you're staying in the hospital for a while until we make sure you're okay, but because I'm your best friend and I know how hospital food is, I bought you a cheeseburger." He said getting a small MacDonald's bag out of his pocket.
" I knew I kept you for a reason." Ian said looking very excited to eat.
" You dare get in a car accident again, and you will forget that reason." Charlie glared at Ian, and Ian grinned gratefully, knowing he has people who care about him so much.
" Where are my siblings?" He asked as he munched on his sandwich.
" Lily sent them home earlier to get some rest, but I called them, they should be on their way, your father is in an important meeting, so he is coming tomorrow morning." Andrew explained and he nodded, happy to be seeing his siblings again, he missed them so much this time.
" I'm surprised Dad even came to be honest, lately his work has been more important than any other thing in his life." Ian shrugged chewing his food slowly.
" Well, you should have seen his face when we told him you survived the surgery." Lily said and Ian tried to hide his smile, but it found it's way onto his face.
" Where is Sophie?" Ian asked the question that they have been dreading.
They all stayed silent, exchanging glances as Ian frowned.
" What's going on?" He asked with a passive tone putting his sandwich down, Ian was always known for being intelligent, so he figured it out before they said anything.
" There is something you need to know." Andy said.

" He's awake, and he's responsive, you need to go see him." Dylan was convincing Sophie, who was huddled in a blanket in his study, reading The Great Gatsby for the 50th time.
" I can't, I have to know what happens to Jay in the end of the book." Sophie said acting very interested in the book.
" Darling, I gave you this book when you were 18 years old, and we have watched the movie together, you clearly know the ending, get up and go see your friend." Dylan said nudging Sophie's knee, which was raised up.
" I can't go, I'm sick." Sophie said faking a cold.
" Sophie." Dylan said sternly, but he was secretly impressed, she was resilient just like his brother had been.
" Well then, I'm on my period." Sophie said pushing the book close, and slumping down more.
" First of all, don't ever say that to me again, secondly, this is not an excuse." Dylan crossed his arms, and raised one eyebrow at her.
" Fine, I'll go." Sophie said throwing the blanket away and getting up, acting angry, and Dylan knew better than to believe her.
Her let her go up to her room to change, not expecting that she would enter the room, shut off the lights, and crawl under the blanket.
