"You sure you want to do this?" Xenia asked eyed me closely. I had briefly told her about my dream making sure to exclude the bit with the bed and focus on how I saw Skelos. After hours of her yelling at him even though he wasn't there she pulled out one of her weapons and sliced up part of the couch.

It was amazing to look at. Sure it was slightly frightening but I was in awe. I needed to learn how to master these things. "I'm sure. I want you to teach me as much as you can about fighting. I know how to use my fist but not an actual weapon." I admitted. Back home I'd get in tons of fist fights with girls and boys but I had never once thought about bringing in a weapon. For whatever reason they would say something to me or be rude to one of my friends and I would snap. It wasn't so bad in high school but it was almost daily in the past.

She tapped her chin and slowly smiled. "Fine by me, you just better not tell the dean about this, I heard he wants to teach you himself." I cringed. "That's okay, I'd rather have someone I'm comfortable with."

She stood up and when towards the table. Unhooking something she pulled out tons of knifes and swords. "My aunt back home sent these for me because I am always picky when it comes to my weapons. You never know exactly the right one that fits the occasion." She pulled out a small sword with a engraved handle. "This one I found in the rummage of a battle." She said it slowly and wouldn't take her eyes off it. I admired it's pattern, lacing carefully around the handle.

"Was it the battle that everyone seems to be talking about?" I asked. She immediately frowned. "This particular war was between Hellfire and Cristallno, at first both worlds were at peace with each other. Hellfire would do their evil thing and I guess we would do our good thing but then Skelos got greedy." She gritted her teeth and gripped the sword. "He sent a bunch of his monsters to destroy half of the city. The queen of Cristallno, Stephanie Ann Boyars, sent a lot of kids our age out to war. Including some parents like mine and yours." I hopped on the table getting into the story. Maybe now I'll find out more information about my family and my birthplace.

"Stephanie, your parents, my parents, and your uncle all set out to gain warriors for this fight. That's when Stephanie split the people into two categories Protectors and Warriors." She loosened her grip on the sword and placed it back in the cloth. "The war was bloody, and a lot of lives were lost. I only got to see a glimpse since I was so little at the time but your mother out there Aria, was beautiful." Her eyes sparkled in admiration but quickly darkened.

"Do you want to know what her powers are?"

I nodded. But did I really want to know? "Her powers were Telekinesis and she would be able to Astral Project herself so she can be in two places at once. Think Prue on charmed." She winked. Wow, I knew I loved that show for a deeper reason besides Cole.

"So everyone is born with two powers?"

She shook her head. "Not everybody, mainly the really rare and really special people. Like your family and the royal family. Other supernatural beings are werewolfs, vampires, vampire-beasts, witches, and warlocks. I think I saw a fairy once."

I snorted. "A fairy?" Seriously? How disney can this conversation get? She narrowed her eyes at me. "Hey fairies can be really vicious you know? Have you ever seen Peter Pan?" I nodded. "Think of tinklebell on meth withdrawal."

"Wow. What was my father's power? I know he can see into the future already." I always knew it was weird how he would suddenly catch me in a lie when I wanted to sneak out. All thanks to the most evil guy in the world. Who was in my bedroom. And I'm still living.

"He can see into the future? I only thought he had one power!" She exclaimed. "His power that I remember seeing was Teleportation. Zapping from one place to the next. It was very useful in battle and sure pissed Skelos off." She grinned micheivously. "You know when you smile like that it scares the crap out of me." She shrugged her shoulders.
