Time Is Forever

The last two weeks went by way too fast. I had come to the school expected to either get kicked out or run back home but I didn't. I didn't even want to.

But the bad news is, more kids were missing and it was starting to become noticable. That explains why me, Luke, Xenia, and Nathan are sitting around in our dorm discussing our next possible move.

"We don't even know what this thing is that's getting the kids and how." I clarified. I was sitting on the couch with Luke's head rested on my lap. I was stroking his hair gently ever so often catching his gaze with a smile. It was a bad habit but a fun one at that.

"We already know Skelos has something to do with it." Xenia said bitterly. Xenia and Nathan had not gone out yet but everyday they were one step closer to admitting their feelings for each other. Their flirty relationship was kept up to par and they constantly bickered with each other. If that isn't love I don't know what is.

"How can we know for sure though?" Nathan asked pacing the floor. "I mean sure this Skelos guy is evil but do you think there could be someone worst?"

"No one is worst." Luke and Xenia looked at eachother for having said that at the same time.

I shivered at the image of Skelos, murdering millions of people without a second thought. And he wanted me to be by his side? Yeah right, I'd rather rip off my skin with a fork.

Nathan sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "Okay, so what are we suppose to do?"

Luke sat upright. "Maybe we should go to Cristallno? Set up forces to protect and defend." The power in his voice made him appear older and much like a warrior. I wonder if that is what he was like back at Cristallno.

Xenia nodded and stood up. "I'll take the news to the dean. Just to check if it's okay with him or not. I'm sure with Nathan and Aria being all super special we can get a plane up here in the next couple of days. Until then we should keep a look out for any more missing students and a careful look out for each other," Her eyes drifted to Nathan, "That means we need to spend a lot of time together."

Nathan grinned happily. "Fine by me."

I rolled my eyes and Luke poked me in the cheek. "Are you rolling your eyes because you don't want to spend time with me or are you rolling your eyes because of your reading your brothers thoughts."

I poked him right back. "Maybe both?" He pouted in the cutest way and I laughed. "On that love note, I am going to leave now." Xenia made a gagging sound and I threw a pillow at her that she dodged. She dashed towards the door before I could throw anything else away. "And I, have a meeting."

I raised an eyebrow. "Another one of those meetings?"

My brother had gone to almost all of the meetings and was very discreet about it. Everytime I asked Luke he always shrugged "It's a secret. No girls can know." Such a sextist club.

"Yep, be back in about an hour. Unless Pamela Andersoon appears naked before me, than of course I am powerless aganist her will." He winked and walked out the door.

"My brother is so gross."

He nodded. "Yeah, but you've got to admit he's kind of cool."

I scoffed. "Yeah, as cool as paint drying." He laughed and leaned closer to me. A question popped up in my head. "Luke?" He was leaning closer and closer to my lips. "Hm?"

I had to get the question out or I would never be able to remember. "How did you turn into a wolf?"

He stopped and drew back. "You really want to know? It's not exactly a fairy tale ending."
