There is a moment in everyone's life, when things suddenly click. May it be bad, or good. But you know that whatever happened before is pointless and it was all leading up to now. Everything that happened with me and Luke was suppose to happen. He was my guard hired by my mother.

"Aria? Aria did I say something?"

There are so many ways I could feel right now but I could control just one. I felt the tug in my stomach and a circle of flames erupted before my eyes. My mother took a step back in fright and than awe. "That's amazing."

"You haven't seen anything yet. Wait until I see..." I clamped my mouth shut. I couldn't even bring myself to say his name.

I turned calmly towards the door let my fire simmer down around me. "Wait a second. " I said.

"Yes?"

"He's been working for you, for how long?"

"Well his family has been working for us for years. His wolf side of course."

I opened the door and slammed it shut behind me. I didn't need to hear anymore.

He lied to me? All this time he's been acting as if things were perfect, as if we just fell for each other. Funny how that was all bullshit.

The fire circled around me leaving some of the plants charred down my path. Servants opened their doors but quickly scattered back in, curious to see what was going to happen.

I flew down the main stairs and out the front doors to see his face in the distance. Deep down, I knew I should approach him while I was this heated but I need my questions to be answered. Did he actually not like me all along?

Xenia was the first to see me, her eyes wide. She called out his name and he turned with a smile on his face that quickly slipped.

"Aria what's--?'

"You've been working for my mom all this time? So you knew everything about me, all the things I like and love and hate. And you never said anything at all."

He said nothing which only made what my mother said true. Funny. I had to hear it from my mother that's been gone for years and not from the guy I met weeks ago.

"Aria..." He came towards me and my hand went out, charring the bottom of his pants. He winced but said nothing. "You used me. For what? For protection? This is how you protect me!" I sent the fire flying towards his shoulder, he winced again the clear pain of almost getting burnt on his face but still he said nothing and just patted the fire away.

"Aria! You have to stop this you're going to kill him if you don't stop!" Xenia's voice said from behind me.

I kept my eyes on him. "So what? Wouldn't that be fulfing his job than? He was suppose to protect me from getting hurt and with him gone I won't have to deal with it." As the words left my mouth I instantly regretted them. No one deserved to die. But the fire and the passion I felt was growing around me. As hard as I could try to push it down it couldn't.

Slowly the ground under me rumbled and shook. Rocks suddenly floated in the air. Looking around me I panicked and aimed the rocks towards a nearby tree. And in an instant the fire, along with my connection to the earth was gone and I fell to my knees.

He ran to me and put his arm on my shoulder. Weakly I swatted his hands away. It was becoming a fight to keep my eyes open. "Don't... touch me.. get away.. from me."

"Luke you have to carry her to the nurse. Her powers burnt out" Xenia exclaimed. "Come on now! Get her feet and I'll get the other half."

My eyes were finally closed when I felt four hands grab my body and lift me up. I willed myself to struggle and I could still feel the tug of fire inside of me. Xenia must have noticed this too by the strong way she held onto me. "Let go of the fire Aria. You're going to worsen your condition."
