Sitting on the edge of his bed, was Logan, his hands cradling his head.  He didn't know what to do.  His wolf just suddenly went insane when they found out that Lila had gone missing and that Justin couldn't get ahold of her.  He couldn't help but feel frightened; where was she?  Where had she been?  What had she been doing?  He wished that he could have been able to accept her right away, but then memories of his mother came flashing back.  Memories where he saw his mother die because of his stupidity, his recklessness.  He didn't want to risk losing Lila too, he was afraid of what would happen to him, what could happen to him.

“Fuck!”  Logan cursed loudly.  Whilst in his rage, he grabbed the nearest object to him (which was a fragile lamp) and threw it against the wall with his full strength.  Not even the shattering noise was satisfying to him.  He wanted to destroy his entire room, that might sate his anger.

“Calm down, Logan.”  His wolf tried to reason with him.  Logan always wondered how his wolf was so kind, so... loving.  Logan was the one who got into fights, got into trouble without a second thought.  If his wolf was a person, he'd probably be the one stopping Logan and sticking up for the weaker wolves, the ones Logan had terrorised throughout his entire life without any remorse.  “There's no use in getting angry.  Just go see your father.  He'll understand.  Talk to him. It's not good keeping it all bottled up.  You know what would happen, would is most likely to happen in the next few minutes.”  Logan sighed and forced himself up.  His wolf may have been kind, but he was very persistent.  Logan didn't need his wolf nagging him about this too.  He noticed that he'd broken his lamp into several tiny pieces.  Each piece was shattered around the wall, where a mark had been left.

“Crap, I should really stop throwing fragile shit.”  Logan muttered before leaving his room.  "And get someone to clean it up."

Walking down the corridors of the pack house, Logan;s thoughts returned to Lila.  He regretted Monday, he really did.  He wished he hadn't taken that whore home.  Hell, he didn't even know what her name was.  Logan didn't know which one was worse, the feeling that he was cheating on Lila when he was sure she didn't want anything to do with him or that blinding pain he felt when he actually had sex with the whore.  They were both as bad as each other.

Entering his father's office (and knocking beforehand) he closed the door before he sauntered to sit down in front of the desk.  His father had taught his brothers manners, something that Logan thanked him for.  They knew how to act in front of other alphas, and other wolves in higher power.

“Logan?  Logan, my boy, what can I do for you?”  His dad asked, slightly surprised.  Logan didn't see why though, his dad was probably the only person who wasn't going to be frightened of him.  The whole pack, except Daniel and Jack, stayed well out of his way.  Daniel hated Logan because he agreed with Logan that it was his fault that their mother was dead and Jack?  Well, Jack didn't believe it was his fault.  Jack loved Logan regardless of what happened, he was just glad that Logan was alive.  The little boy didn't know any better.  It was like they said: "ignorance is bliss."

“I... I don't... I found my mate.”  Logan managed to stumble out, after trying to figure out what to say.  It wasn't like this topic would just casually come up in conversation.  It wasn't like they were talking about rogues... or what they'd be having for dinner.

“Really?”  His dad put down the newspaper he'd had in his hands.  He looked at Logan with knowing eyes.  “She's pretty, isn't she?  Wonderful girl.”
