Lila sighed and shifted back into human form, ignoring the burning pain in her arm and her leg. She really wondered how she was going to get back, it would be near enough impossible for her to walk or to crawl without being in immense pain. Whoever wrote that werewolves could heal almost instantly was wrong. Werewolves could only shift slightly quicker than the average human. The reason why werewolves didn't get injured as much was due to the fact that their skin was tougher, so if attacked by a human it wouldn't damage them. However, being attacked by a werewolf was an entirely different story altogether.

Looking over to Justin and saw that his wolf was breathing heavily; it was evident due to Lila being able to see his shoulders heave up and down. She needed to calm Justin down before he harmed himself or maimed Logan. Justin had inherited Mamaw's temper, which was when she managed to get livid (which was barely anything as nothing caused her to be too angry), all Hell broke loose and Mamaw was never one to get livid.

“Justin.” Lila calmly asked Justin, speaking softly. “Justin, I can explain.” Justin growled and Lila sighed. This wasn't going to go well, he was starting to get worked up.

“Well, that's what happens when your sister is mates with someone you hate.” Evangeline added in, unnecessarily. Lila wished Evangeline was another person so she could take her anger out on her. She couldn't really hit herself without hurting herself, or looking like an idiot. She saw Justin crouch down, as if he was ready to leap at Logan and Lila had no clue what to do. She couldn't really shift back without causing immense pain (not that she wasn't already in pain) and if she did, she couldn't do anything.

“Logan, shift back. Please.” She pleaded Logan, at least then Justin wouldn't be so angry... well, he wouldn't attack. Justin preferred it if his opponent was in the same 'form' as him, Justin said that it was 'only fair' that they were both at the same advantage.

She felt a cool breeze where Logan's wolf form had originally been. He was hunched over behind Lila and moved so that he could look at her leg and arm.

“Logan, I'm fine. We've got a bigger problem!” Lila hissed.

“What's a bigger problem than you having an arm and leg broken?” Logan snapped back.

“Oh, I don't know. Maybe the fact that my brother is going to murder you? That he's getting angry?”

“He couldn't do anything to me.” Logan snorted. Lila rolled her eyes, of course he would assume that. Just because Logan was an alpha's son didn't mean that Justin wouldn't go mental at him. Lila knew Justin better than anyone, and she was sure of one thing: when Justin got angry, he really got angry. That was when he would wildly attack anyone and anything.

“You've not seen Justin's anger. It's like Mamaw's but worse.” Lila didn't actually know whether Mamaw's temper was worse than Justin's. Justin's was probably worse than it should have been because of the testosterone but when Mamaw was angry? Yeah, it was frightening. Lila had never ever encountered it but she'd heard stories. Apparently Mamaw had scared a few Alphas away – and that wasn't good because Alphas normally stood up to people who 'disrespected' them.

“What the Hell, Lila?!” Justin roared whilst Lila cringed from the sound of his voice, echoing around the clearing.

“Justin, I think you should calm down bef-” Lila started to say softly, she knew that shouting at Justin would just egg him on.
