Logan didn't want to hang out with Lila's other friends. He hated them all; they thought they were better than everyone. He used to hang out with them but after his mother's death... Everything changed. They turned their backs on him. Logan blamed Daniel. They were as thick as thieves until the murder and now they hated each other.
“Please, Logan? It would mean a lot to me if you and my brother could get along.” Lila persuaded Logan and although he... Lo-Liked Lila a lot, he wasn't going to hang out with her brother. It would mean he'd have to hang out with his brother too. That was something Logan was not cool with.
“No.” He told her sternly.
“Ple-e-ease?” She begged Logan, biting her lip and Logan could feel himself starting to cave.
“As much as I want to, I'd rather not see my brother.” Logan firmly told Lila. He was not going to become one of those werewolves who was whipped for their mates. He'd seen Jace and his mate... Maria? Mimi? Whatever her name was and he thought it was gross. He'd willingly jump off a cliff for her if she asked him to. Logan refused turn into one of them. It was too soppy for his liking.
“Fine.” Lila huffed and it amused Logan. He noticed that if something didn't go right or someone didn't comply to her wishes, she's either huff or sigh. “Let me go get the presents out of the car. I should drop them off. I'll be back in a minute, okay?” She pecked Logan on the lips and bounded out of the room.
Logan was sure that Lila wasn't going to give up although she was pretty unpredictable. The same as Logan. They were a perfect match for each other. Logan checked outside his room to see if Lila was walking... Or running back (she'd been pretty enthusiastic since last week, he'd been warned by... Jace's girlfriend whose name he'd completely forgotten, that she got excited for Christmas). Seeing she wasn't in sight, Logan strolled over to his desk and took out the hidden present he'd gotten for Lila. He thought of where Lila wouldn't look for it and decided on underneath his bed. Lila didn't seem the type to look under people's beds.
Just as he'd managed to hide it safely under his bed, the door swung open.
“Logan!” He heard Lila squeal and looked at her with his eyebrows raised.
“What?” He asked. He wondered how long she could keep up with being cheery; was she on happy pills or what?
“I want to show you something! You need to come with me!” She skipped over and grabbed his hand. Logan felt confused as he followed Lila, especially when she took him outside and put him into a car... He recognised it as Justin's. What was he doing in Justin's car? He was sure Lila couldn't drive...
“Li? What are you doing?” Logan asked, as Lila sat him down on the passenger seat and put the seat belt over him.
“Oh. I just gotta go run and get something I left inside. Just... Stay in the car and I'll be out in like five minutes. Okay?” Logan nodded, unable to say anything. Something didn't feel right but he couldn't figure out what it was... He watched as she sprinted up the stairs into the pack house. It was only a moment later that she came back down with her face in a worried expression but as soon as she saw Logan, she turned it into a happy smile.
As she got to the car, she pulled Logan's door open and kissed Logan with all she had in her and Logan wasn't complaining. His eyebrows scrunched up when he felt the car dip but he didn't seem to think of anything.
