"Alright. We're finally here." Quiver breaks the silence and speaks in a hopeful tone as we slowly and quietly approach the prison. We've been running for hours and it's killing me. Basically, Rush and me have been grabbing the others from the site where we fought The Hellfire Squad and using our superspeed to carry them here. Its quicker and harder work, but this way we get here much faster. I finally drop off the last person and rest near a rock.

We're up on a tall hill that overlooks the countryside and Purge's prison. There are large boulders and a few trees that fortunately provide cover from our location being blown.

"Okay, does everyone remember the plan?" Quiver keeps his eye on the prison while talking.

"Umm...if you could go over it again that would be nice," Rush says, grinning.

"This is hopeless." Quiver facepalms himself and turns around to look our whole squad in the eye. "Okay, it's simple. All we do is have all the groups rush the prison on all sides. Our group is taking the east side." He points to one of the four large stone walls surrounding the trapezoid shaped prison on the interior.

"Where are the others?" I interrupt.

"Good question." Quiver puts his hand up to his chin and I can tell he's thinking. "They could've run into trouble like us."

"Yeah." I think with him. "Two of the other teams can fly. So there's no way we could get here before them normally. So they've either all been greeted by Purge's right hand men like us and are running a bit late after a win...or...the same thing happened and they lost. I'm leaning towards the second scenario."

"Likewise, Jack." Quiver looks around for a moment, but then sits down on the grass. "Well, from up here we've got a high vantage point and these large rocks provide us with cover. We can lye low up here for about an hour and scope out the prisons weak points. We can wait for a bit just in case the others really are running late."

"Good idea." I lean against a rock and try to relax.

"Guess that answers the question." Quiver points to a truck pulling up to the front of the prison. I lean off the rock and dash to his side. The truck slows to a halt and a few of Purge's soldiers step out. They have guns pointed at some people with cloth bags over their heads. All of the prisoners have these weird, bulky, white metal cuffs on their hands that are pulsing with orange energy.

I recognize one of the prisoners even though he has his head covered. His green suit gives it away. Quantum. Crap. Just our luck. Along with him are dozens of other heroes, some of which I don't recognize.

"That's everyone we sent out. Every single rebel but our group has been captured." Quiver turned his head back to see our whole group right behind him, watching the prisoners being hauled in. Quiver starts to talk again after the silence.

"Well everyone looks like our small team of heroes has just been cut down to us. We'll have 1/4 the man power we should have but we can do it. Plus, what have we got to lose?"

"Our powers," Rush says from the back.

"Our lives," I say shortly after.

"We're still going to try though, right?" Quiver responds.

"Definitely." Subzero smiles and extends his staff.

"If we go now we can free the heroes that are on the trucks and then head into the prison. Sound good?"

"Yea." We all respond.

"Then let's do it." Quiver stands up and runs down the hill to the prison. The rest of us follow and the guards don't know what's hitting them.
