Chapter 1: Not An Average Solior

     To any normal person you seemed no more than an ordinary soldier. You fought for the people and did as much as you could, just as you were supposed to. You were what seemed to be just an average soldier. On the inside, however, you were quite different. You had such a colourful personality and a bright mind, you hardly showed it though as you were set on being the best soldier you could be. You were far from the strongest in your squad, but you were skilled with your blades and quickly became a master at using the 3D maneuver gear while you were a trainee. This talent, hard work, and dedication had got you a good place in the Survey Corps, fighting with the best of the best.
    
     Even though you always did as you should, that doesn't mean you always took orders. You had trouble trusting other people's judgement. While this sometimes got you into trouble it also saved lives. Some people didn't like this about you though and always insisted that you stick to the rules and do as your commanders tell you. Others, however, left all their faith in you and accepted that you'd do what was right. On top of this, you were also a cheeky and talkative person who wasn't afraid to say their opinion. Again, this got you into trouble in some circumstances. Your friends always found that funny though. You were friends with a group of cadets that had recently joined the Scouts from the 104th training squad. Although I say they were your friends, They weren't all exactly what you'd describe as pals. They were more just the people you knew well and acquaintances that you'd met while training at the Scouts headquarters.

     You also knew some of the soldiers that had been in the Scouts much longer than you. Like the Survey Corps's scientist, Hanji Zoe. You used knew a group of skilled soldiers in the elite squad. Also known as the Levi squad. However, they were unfortunately killed a couple of months back in the last expedition outside the walls. All except for their leader, Captain Levi.
