You took a long sigh as you stumbled back inside headquarters to get something for your lunch. You'd just finished your training and, like most of the others, you were exhausted. To you it was a good kind of tiredness though, it reminded you what you'd accomplished and what you could do. It also made you feel more healthy, being out that much. You got some bread and a bowl of stu that Sasha and Connie had made yesterday for the party. They were really good cooks. Once you sat down at a table to eat, a random thought popped into your head: 'What if yesterday, in the kiss, marry ,kill game, Levi had walked in when I said that he was my kiss option...' You thought. 'Huh, knowing the people that were there, they'd probably have tried to make me kiss him. But we all know that isn't happening.'
Most of the other people in the mess hall were sat on a table near the front. You chose to sit alone today, you weren't a very social person and interacting with others all the time tired you out. As you were eating, Sasha came up to you. She knew you enjoyed her cooking and she looked excited to tell you something. "Hey! (f/n)! Good news!" She shouted. Then she came closer to you and whispered "We might be able to actually have meat in the stu next time!" There was drool running out of her mouth as she spoke. You looked at her confused, "What? But how? You know how expensive meat is now and the only animals we keep at the castle are horses, we can't exactly put them in a stu can we. Please tell me you didn't butcher one of the horses." You both chuckled at your comment. "I found a rabbit today in training! It's hidden where no one else will find it." She was grinning, probably thinking about how her next dish would taste. "Wait, you killed a rabbit in training?" You questioned. "Heh heh heh... Not exactly..." She diverted her eyes away from you with a bit of a guilty smile. "Wait- you didn't kill it?" She shook her head slowly. "So you're keeping a live rabbit somewhere in the castle... Of corse." You said as you ate a spoonful of the stu in front of you. "Well I need to fatten it up before we eat it!" She replied. You looked back down at your food "Well that's up to you I suppose, just don't get caught or you'll be in serious trouble... Again." "I wownt, don't worry." She began to walk away. "Oh, and Sasha," She turned round and you were still staring at your bowl. "let me know when you'll be cooking that stu." "Ha ha, I will" she winked and walked off to join the others.
