The next morning you awoke to the sound of a pigeon cooing outside, on your window ledge. "Aahhh..." You groaned sleepily. "Why do you have to do that? Isn't there someone else you could be waking up?" You looked what time it was on your clock and realise that you should be getting ready for training soon anyway. Although you were high ranked compared to regular Scouts trainees, that didn't mean you were excused from training with everyone else. In a way you liked it though. It was kind of fun being able to test your skills with your friends, and see how others were progressing. It was good practice too. And anyway, you wouldn't be where you were now if it weren't for trying your best in all your training exercises. You may not always like the activities you had to do, but you tried nevertheless.

You pulled yourself out of bed and got changed into your uniform. Once you were changed, you made your bed, put your things back in their places, and opened your window to get rid of the flying pest that had woken you up early. As you looked outside you saw Eren feeding the horses. He waved up at you and you waved back. "Huh, I wonder if he's feeding Jean too." You said to yourself, chuckling at your own comment.

You decided to close the window soon after so your room didn't get too cold. The cold never really bothered you too much though. Some people said you were weird because it took a hell of a lot for you to even begin to feel chilly. While everyone else would be shivering at outdoor training in the winter, you'd be putting in just as much effort as ever, if not more. You used the cold to motivate you to do better. You could also, for some strange reason, control weather you physically felt cold or not. You guessed that you were just good at ignoring the messages your body was trying to send you.

You left and locked your room before heading down to the kitchen to get something to eat. 'Hmm, I wonder if Sasha's cooked up anything for breakfast...' You thought. 'Eh, even if she did, it'll be in her stomach by now.' Once you arrived at the kitchen you saw that everyone was busy, eating, preparing food, and washing dishes, probably under the Captain's orders. You sighed, "This is going to be a long day isn't it?"
