The Moonlight Princess.

Chapter 14: Coronation

Luna watched proudly as her brother and his mate were crowned the new King and Queen of Skyla. Their father had decided it was time to retire, he was still mourning for his mate. They caught the remaining traitors within a week after Fox's crew disbanded. There were a total of five including Carrie and Aliak's former mates. 

"I can't want until that thing has the pups so we can kill her already." Megan whispered to the white princess. The siblings decided it was best for everyone if they stayed in the kingdom. Amui was moved to a special part of the dungeon. Gin became a Commander and Megan became a drill sergeant. 

Kyro rubbed his mates ears, he was promoted to General by Grant's first orders. Deco had stepped down from his position when King Kunkurou stepped down. The retired king would be close by to guide his son along the way.  

"Where did Lynx run off to?" May asked her brother flicking Gin away with her tail. 

"Haven't seen him for days." Kyro replied carelessly, "He will be fine."

Grant stood up from kneeling down on one knee. He and Kiki made their way over to the group with smiles on their faces. Gin put an arm around May, "Lets party!"

Everyone cheered in agreement then separated from the crowed. They went to the hall which was reserved for their inner circle and family. Luna watched as her brother, mate, and Gin all went for the drinks. They started having a contest on who could drink the most while flying upside down. Luna groaned, "This is going to turn out just fine."

Lily who was talking to Kiki walked over to her, "Ah they'll be fine, they're tough." 

Carrie stared at Kiki, the two looked similar although Carrie's fur was shinier. Luna frowned, "Am I the only one who isn't pregnant here?!"

Luna broke into laughter as Megan joined the males and started winning, "Go Megan! Win for the females!"

Megan gave her a thumbs up before dipping back to chug more alcohol. Kunkurou walked into the room with a smile on his face. He hadn't smiled after the day Mira died, so this was a surprise to his daughter. Luna flew over to him, "You're just going to stand there and let them kill their livers?"

"It's good to let them have fun once in a while so they don't wreck the castle." The King replied. 

The white princess nodded in agreement, "Dad did you ever know about Hollow or Fox..?"

The King tipped his head back and forth, "I knew something was up with Mira just not what. When we were young she went on a three month peace mission to Tetsuka. I assume thats when she... had her pups. When we were married for around five years she brought Turf to the castle, she said he was an abandoned pup."

"Technically she did abandon them." Luna hugged his arm, "Thanks for everything dad, Grant will make a good King and Kiki a good Queen."

Kunkurou nodded the started pushing his daughter towards her friends, "Go have fun, I'll be fine. I'm going to go fishing with Shade, Deco, and Splotch."

"If you say so." Luna sighed walking off. Megan had beat the boys in there own game. Kiki and Aliak lifted her on their shoulders and paraded her around. The males were drunk off their tails. Gin was hitting on May, Grant was flirting with his own mate, and Kyro grabbed Luna from behind. 

Luna squeaked as Kyro began nuzzling her ears, "Kyro! You're just drunk!" 

"So?" Kyro muttered continuing.

She flattened her ears embarrassed, Kyro licked her cheek, "Everyone's too drunk to care, its alright officer." 

Luna narrowed her eyes and pushed him away, "You would lick a guards ear if you were drunk?"
