Dan and Phil are facing each other; Dan's hands holds the other's waist and his head is resting on his chest, while the Phil's arms are folded back on themselves.
This is their first night in their new apartment and the mattress is uncomfortable, the new sheets are uncomfortable, the walls seem different and strange.. but just the fact of being with the another one makes them feel better.
"Dan.."
"Mh," he mutters as to say 'continue.'
"It's nice to be here," he announces. Dan smiles and caresses the back of his back with his thumb. "Are you going to sleep?"
"Nah, it's that I was thinking about something"
"What?"
"Do you remember when we met?"
Dan smiles at the question. "Of course I remember it Phil"
Then silence again.
"Every night I hugged the pillow and pretended it to be you," Dan chuckles.
"Really?" he asks and Dan nods on his chest. "And now we are here," Phil whispers.
"Yeah," he says getting up and putting his head on his pillow, looking into Phil's eyes. Phil puts his nose on the other's, and Dan chuckles, remaining for a while and then approaching kissing him. One of those sweet kisses.
"We will have to add furniture to the kitchen, I find it too empty as well," Dan whispers.
"Even in the living room, some framework"
"Yes, definitely," he chuckles and pauses. "Phil"
"Yes?"
"I love you"
"Me too darling, I love you too," he smiles and kisses his forehead. "And I'm ready to live my entire life with you"
