Luke's five year contract had ended when he turned twenty one and he currently sat at the same desk as he did five years ago as a sixteen year old boy and his mum.

This time, Luke carefully read through every page of the contract.

His manager was breathing down his neck, "Luke hurry up we have things to do today."

"This contract controls my life, I'm taking my time." Luke replied, ignoring his manager. He licked his finger and turned the page.

"I don't want a fake girlfriend again." Luke said, running a red line through that line with his pen. "I won't come out but no girlfriend."

He heard his manager tut but Luke ignored it, he hated him anyway. He was a dick.

Luke regretted not reading over the contract five years ago, he would've made sure his own name was used so he got the credit and he wished he would've taken time and read it and listened to his mum.

When Luke got to the last page, a line waiting for a signature, he debated it.

He loved his fans and he loved making music and he loved to sing. But he hated everything else.

Luke was going to do this for his fans and he was doing it for his parents—showing them their decision to let Luke do this and show him what he could do and make them proud.

Luke signed his name and everyone took in a breath—they were keeping their most profit worthy singer.

The contract was taken away from Luke before he could change his mind and he checked his phone to see it was two pm and he had a radio interview at half past.

His manager made him stand up and he rolled his eyes as they left the building, paparazzi outside and waiting. He had security around him as he got to the car and he got in, the door slamming shut behind him and he sighed, taking in a deep breath.

He took in the quiet for a moment and closed his eyes, leaning his head back on the seat and running a hand through his fringe.

He already regretted signing the contract.
