My jaw dropped.

"Rachel!" Luke yelled. He still hasn't seen me yet. "Get off me!" She was taken aback and then smirked. That's when Luke's eyes met mine. "Oh my god. No! Ad!! No!" I was completely shocked. My legs were frozen to the ground. Tears began to blur

"Baby, no please. It's not what you think." I turned to be met by Ashton's welcoming arms. I buried my face into his chest and sobbed.

"Dude, we're gonna head out. I'll see you later." Ashton let me go and I took one last glance at Luke and saw guilt, regret, and fear written all over his face. "You're a sick man, bro," Ashton spit, slamming the door shut.

Before we walked anywhere, Ashton turned to me and held my face in his hands. "Addie?" He hardly whispered. "Where do you want me to take you."

"Anywhere but here." He grabbed my hand and pulled me down the hall and onto the elevator. We got out of the building lightning fast and got into Ashton's car. The drive was silent except for my sobs.

He took me to my dorm and we walked in. Boys aren't allowed in the girl's rooms but I couldn't care less. Ashton stormed through the door, startling Carson.

"Addie? Oh my god! Addie are you okay?"

"No, she's not," Ashton answered for me.

"What happened?"

"Luke. We walked into the apartment and saw him smooching with Rachel." Carson gasped which brought sobs to rake through my body.

"Addie-" she rushed over to me. "Uh, I got it from here."

"It's Ashton by the way."

"Carson." He nodded and headed out.

"Addie?" I looked over at him. "Call me." I nodded before placing my face on Carson's shoulder. He closed the door and Carson's hands began to rub my back.

"It's going to be okay. You're strong and can get through this." I wish. I couldn't believe this was happening. I wanted to wake up from this nightmare but I couldn't. "Let's let you lay down." Carson let me go briefly before bringing me over to my bed and laying me down. "Lucky for you, we still have ice cream." She walked over to our mini fridge/freezer and pulled out my leftover pint of banana ice cream. She grabbed a spoon and brought it over to me.

"I... I want to be, to be dreaming," I stuttered.

"I know, honey, I know. But we are going to get you through this even if it means never leaving this room." I weakly smiled at her and then put my attention towards my ice cream.

I wolfed it down in less than ten minutes before laying down and closing my eyes. Carson left to head to her class and I went to sleep. Maybe, just maybe when I wake up it will all go away.

//

"Luke! Get out!" Carson whisper- yelled. I had woken up but not opened my eyes yet.

"I just want to see her." No! Do not let that beast near me.

"No!" Carson yelled. "No-" she repeated a little quieter. "You're a back stabbing jerk who broke my best friend's heart."

"Please," he begged. I heard him sniffle which meant he was crying. "I just want to see her. I love her."

"Uh huh. Is that so?"

"Carson- five minutes."

"Ugh!" She groaned. "Fine! Five minutes and then you're getting out." Luke rushed over to me and grabbed my hand. I felt drops of water falling onto my skin. He's crying.

"Baby, you have no idea what happened. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. She just came over and stormed in. I was in the kitchen and she spun me around and flung herself onto me. That's when you walked in. God, I hate her. She stole you from me. Please don't leave me. Please." I wanted to tell him that I wouldn't ever leave him but I couldn't. I had to remember what he did to me.

He broke me.

"Alright dude! It's been five minutes. Leave." Luke's hand slowly let go of mine and he walked out.

"Tell her I was here."

"Yeah yeah. Whatever just leave." I heard some shuffling before the door shut.
