Ester's POV
“One more job failure,” I thought as I walked casually down the street. I looked up and down, left and right but I couldn't find any job at all; sometimes I honestly thought of giving up, but I couldn't my mom and my brother depended on me and I couldn't ever let them down. I only searched for lower class jobs not jobs in firms and big companies because I didn't go to college and I knew they were going to say I was unqualified, inexperienced and undereducated for such jobs even though I was sure I could have handled any job they gave me. Life was fair to some and unfair to others, I somehow ended up in the unfair part. I told myself what I always said to give me some sort of comfort, “Life will get better,” and hoped my words came true.
