From The Field To Making Pancakes

4  years later

Esther's Pov

Opening my eyes to the bright sun rays that managed to come through the curtains ,I moaned sleepily attempting to stretch only to not be able to .Due to the manly naked body pressed against me shielding and wrapped around me like a burrito ....I could go for one I thought  .I glanced at the clock on the modern black glass nightstand .My eyes  widened at how late it was ,way past midday . The extremely white sheets blended with the walls giving it a nice intimate feeling I guess he was right about having white sheet in our beds it was different than what I was used to but I could live with "Different " after everything we've been through  .

last night's events came back to me in a rush if the soreness in my body  wasn't a big clue , I don't know what is .Let's just say that him and., I have done in every inch and corner of our mansion ,turning to look at the man who became the reason I breathed and existed only to be met with a color that I was too familiar with .

Red 

I gasped ,forgetting how to breathe at the horrific sight I was met with ,i froze at the look of pain and most of death in his eyes .M y entire body shock with shock and fear,the once milky sheets turned into blood red matching my husband's body who now was covered in it looking as dead as a bug on a windshield 

A scream filled the room and then everything disappeared......

I woke up gasping for air,my hands on my chest it felt so real so detailed .Finally,I started to come back and my senses kicked in ,relief hit me as I touched the silky gray sheets feeling grateful that I didn't change my mind and sticked with dark colored sheets  .I could hear the sound of pans being moved and someone moving around in the kitchen .Feeling the sudden need for his comfort .I got up grabbing my purple robe that matched with the nightgown brushing my teeth quickly. I walked downstairs slowly taking in my house .It was huge filled with furniture but not too much since it was only 2 of us for now...

His sexy back was the first thing i saw as I walked in as every part of  me was drawn to him nothing in the world my body could have found more appealing than the sweet man in front of me . I walked in and tried to surprise him by giving him a kiss on the cheek but in all the years we've been together never was I able to scare him .His guard was always up ,always ready for an attack,always ready for the worst after all he's been through a lot . 

The smile that took over his lips was so contagious ,I couldn't help it but smile back feeling warm and fuzzy as he let go of the pan and wrapped his strong arms around me caging me in I buried my head in the crook of his neck inhaling his intoxicating cologne ,feeling safe after that horrible dream I really needed this

"What's wrong?" He asked his eyes both confused and concerned 

"I missed you that's all" I answered placing a kiss on his neck making him shiver and groan 

'Damn baby if you keep doing that I'm going to end up having you for breakfast instead of these pancakes and I know you're still sore from last night " he stated licking his lips making me want him even more than I did when  I woke up

"Who said I was objecting to that?And do you see me complaining baby?" I answered smirking 

Lust filled his eyes as I'm sure mine matched his 

The second his lips touched mine ,the world stopped only for it to come back rather loudly as the alarm went off scaring both of us as we both reached for the guns under the counter that we keep stashed there for safety reasons.........(.Well,you can think that for now) .
