Merasmus's Little Trick

3 months later...

Somewhere in a tower...

A wizard looked into a crystal ball and saw a woman, stroking a serpents head. He chuckled. "Why don't I give her a little trick? It's almost All Hallows Eve. I might as well get into the holiday spirit", he said, smiling. He brought out a book and cast a spell on the woman, putting her to sleep. He knew when she woke up the next day, she would freak out at her new body attachments. He laughed maniacally, the sound leaving a chill in the air.

Meanwhile, in the Badlands...

Echo woke up with a pounding headache. She felt sluggish and confused. She couldn't remember anything about last night. She managed to get out of bed and get dressed. She went down to the dining hall; she could hear voices, so she guessed that the guys were already up. She greeted the guys, and they turned to look at her. All of their eyes widened and their jaws dropped. "What?", she asked. She scratched the top of her head and felt something furry. She ran back to her room and looked in the mirror. Her scream carried all the way back to the dining hall. She had fox ears on the top of her head and a long, luxurious fox tail. She tugged at them, they were all too real. The ears even heightened her sense of hearing, she could hear the guys talking all the way back in the dining hall. She walked back, feeling mortified. Scout reached over the table and flicked her fox ears. They twitched and she could feel it. "Extraordinary", Medic said. "How do you think this happened, doc?", Echo asked. Soldier slammed his fist down on the table. "It must have been that wizard, Merasmus. It's almost Halloween, that's probably why he did it", he said angrily. "Is it permanent?", Echo asked, afraid. "Nah, it'll only last a day probably", Scout said. "Ja, but for now, you'll have to deal with it", Medic said with sad eyes. Echo frowned at this. "Don't worry about it. You look adorable", he said. She blushed at this and her tail wagged. His hand came around and stroked her long tail. "Maybe this isn't so bad", she thought
