The night of the battle, everyone went inside to celebrate today's win. Echo stayed outside to look at the stars. They were beautiful. With no light pollution, she was able to see more than others do. She would often take her starship out for a spin in her time, able to see galaxies, planets, and asteroid belts. Tonight, she was able to relax. She almost dozed off when she heard a dry voice and a high voice. "Can we join you?" She turned around and saw Sniper and Scout. She smiled and said, "Yeah, sure." They sat down on either side of her and looked at the night sky. "The stars are pretty tonight, ey Sniper?", Scout said. "Too right, mate", Sniper said. Echo looked at them both and felt some kind of recognition. They reminded her of two people she knew, but she couldn't put her finger on who they reminded her of. They broke out into a conversation about today's battle, how many BLU'S they killed, how great they were, and such and such. Then Sniper asked Echo if she had the hearts for anyone. She blushed and tried to hide it. "Ohhh, she likes someone", Scout teased. She punched him on the shoulder, making sure it hurt. "Ow", he muttered, rubbing where she hit him. "So, who's the lucky guy?", Sniper asked with that smirk on his face. She knew there was no way to escape his question, but she wasn't giving him the answer so easily. "I'll give you a hint. He isn't American, and he wears glasses." They both thought about it for a moment and the pieces came together. They said at the same time, "Medic". She smiled, and they knew they got the right answer. "I had a feeling you liked him. The way you avoided his gaze, the way you acted when he was near." "Oh, man. Imagine if he knew." She punched Scout in the shoulder again. "If either of you tell him, I will personally make sure you don't have a mouth anymore.", she threatened. They raised their arms in defense, getting the message. It finally clicked in her head. Sniper reminded her of her father and he even looked similar to him. Scout reminded her of her late brother, Marcus, who died in the War of 3506. She smiled, feeling happy that she has two people to remind her of home.
