Today was the day. No going back. Medic was finally going to ask Echo out. He knew she liked looking at the stars, so they were going to have a picnic on the roof. He dressed nicely and held the bouquet of lavender and roses behind his back. He knocked on her door and she answered it. She was wearing her usual outfit and Raissa was wrapped around her neck. "Oh, hi Medic. What's with the fancy clothes?", she asked while smiling. He adored her smile. Medic got down on one knee and brought out the bouquet. "Echo, will you go on a date with me?" She covered her mouth with her hands and gasped. "Yes. I'd love to go out with you." She took the bouquet and took a deep whiff of the flowers. "Lavender. My favorite.", she said, blushing. She went back in her room to get dressed and came out wearing a black sundress and flats. He looked at her outfit. She looked absolutely beautiful. He led her to the picnic spot and told her to sit down on the blanket. He brought out the basket and they started eating. They broke out into a conversation about different topics, and Echo ended it with, "and then I decapitated that Soldier." They were laughing very hard. It had gotten late and the stars were in the sky. He looked into her eyes. Those beautiful crystal blue eyes. They reflected the light of the stars, making them sparkle. She was absolutely amazing and graceful. A few days after she joined, he couldn't get her out of his head. He fell head-over-heels in love with her. He brought his hand to her cheek and pulled her close. She knew what he was doing, so she closed her eyes and tilted her head. They were so close, but before their lips could touch, they heard a snicker. They turned around and saw Scout and Spy. Echo got up, looking extremely ticked. "How long were you standing there?", she said, very harshly. "Long enough. Well, au revoir.", Spy said, cloaking himself. "Hey! Don't leave me here!", Scout yelled. Echo went over to him and picked him up by his shirt. She was suprisingly strong despite her slender frame. "If you tell anyone about this, I will rip your throat out.", she threatened, dropping him. Scout nodded, running away like a frightened mouse. She went back over to Medic, smiling. He walked her back to her room and apologized for what happened. Echo giggled. "No worries. That was the funniest date I've ever been on." She reached up and planted a kiss on the left corner of his lip. His eyes widened at the small contact. "Good night, Medic", she said before closing her bedroom door, leaving him with red cheeks.
