Chapter 17

"Ok everyone ready to go?" I ask and Jessy nods in her white dress.
"Ok then. Jump in the car!" I say joyfully but I'm panicking on the inside.
"They'll love you." He tries to reassure me.
We get to their house and they greet us happily but Michael's dad growls at his son.
Michael growls back and they burst out laughing.
I just smile at them.
"I'm Charlotte." His mom says and I shake her hand.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Laura and this is Jessy." I say and Michael wraps his hand around me.
They pick up Jessy.
"Ooo my grand baby!" Charlotte laughs and they talk for awhile.
We sit down for dinner and Charlotte stares at Mike.
"So Michael, I heard you killed two people." She says and I feel my mate stiffen next to me.
I place my hand on his leg and he calms down.
"Yeah. Julia and Gabriel." He says
"Did one of them threaten your Luna?" Charlotte seems horrified by what her son did.
Wait till she hears about our pup!
My wolf says to me.
I've plugged Jessy's ears with some cotton so she can't hear about what her father did.
"Worse." I say
"They kidnapped our daughter."
Michael grabs my hand under the table.
"What?!" She snarls
We tell him the whole story.
I then see Alex jump through the window.
"Sorry I'm late!" She laughs and I unplug my daughters ears.
"Hi!" She smiles at her aunt.
"This is your aunt Alex." Michael explains to Jessy.
"Ok daddy." She says and Charlotte takes me aside
"So your probably worried about your Luna ceremony right?" She asks and I nod.
"Don't worry. The clan we raised is very excepting. They forget your past and judge you for the way you act now. Not before." Charlotte says and I smile.
"Thank you." I thank her
"Now about Jessy. How did she get that scar across her arm." I look around quickly and then whisper
"Silver."
"HOLY MACARONI ALEX GET OVER HERE! MIKE YOU TOO!"
Alex watches Jessy.
"What Mom?" Alex asks
"Gabriel and Julia used silver on my grandbaby!" Charlotte says and Alex gasps. We talk for a few more hours before we leave.
"See you soon!" They wave good bye and I hug Michael.
"Why did you move to Nevada?" Michael asks as soon as I put Jessy to bed.
"I thought you'd reject our daughter. And we'll usually a alpha would make me have another child. You know how Luna's usually have like 9 kids..." He seems to understand.
"Unless you want one your in no position to be forced." He smiles and kisses my forehead.
I change into my pajamas and fall asleep quickly.
Michael POV:
I'm so happy that she had a good time at my parents. She falls asleep almost instantly so I transform into my wolf and let her sleep well.
She wakes up in the night and calls my name. I jump onto the bed and she smiles.
She strips and shifts as well.
We sleep intwined together.
I hear something downstairs.
A door opening.
I go down stairs and hide in the shadows only showing my blue eyes.
"Michael?" A familiar voice calls.
"Chelsea?" I say and walk out of the shadow.
"Oh thank god your ok!" She says.
