Chapter 16

Laura POV
Jessy's first day of school in Calafornia starts today and Michael decides to drop her off with Lizzy.
He returns and has blood on his shirt.
"Rogue." He explains and I whimper.
I tie my hair back and all the curls are just in the high pony tail.
I go over and look at his hand
"Oh sweet moon gods! Go to the pack Doctor now!" I yell and and push him to the pack Doctor and he gapes.
"Will he be ok?" I whimper
"Of course."
I calm down.
"Take these." The doctor passes him three pills and he takes them.
"Return in 5 days." He says and I transform into my wolf afterwards.
I go outside and bring him outside with me.
A rogue wolf jumps out at me and Michael growls and shifts.
He snarls.
The wolf got a huge slice to my stomach.
My eyes get heavier and they shut.
The black.
Nothing.
Nothing....
Michael POV:
The same rogue that attacked me attacked Laura and I challenge him.
He runs off into Blood Moon territory.
So he's basically dead know.
I look back at Laura.
Her eyes won't open and her stomach bleeds like crazy.
Louis and Jacob our pack doctors immediately rush to her.
The take her and look at me.
"She will need to shift." Jacob says but I growl.
She's mine.
Mine.
I run and get two towels that will cover everything but the wound and place them over her and she shifts.
They fix the wound.
She wakes up in a hour.
I have put her in one of my lumber jack shirts and shorts.
She wakes up and nuzzles me.
"I love you." She whispers
"I love you too." I respond.
A knock at he door startles me.
I open it and see a girl with bright blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Laura?!" She calls and my mate slowly walks down stairs and sees her.
"ERICA?!" She stares at her and her jaws hangs open.
"Yeh! Thought I'd visit you! You texted were you were and geez this guy seems like a dick!" Erica points at me and I roll my eyes knowing she's right.
"At times..." Laura jokes and then explains.
I'm getting tired of telling everyone how dumb I was.
"Wow." Erica says.
"Can I stay for a few days?" She asks and I nod.
She goes up stairs with Laura and I decide to work on some papers in my office.
Laura POV:
Erica already knew most of the story I told. She already knew I was going to be Luna.
She took the job of getting my dress before asking me so I'm just gonna let her show me.
"Bam!" Erica says and pulls a black dress out of her bag.
"NO! I'm never wearing that again..." I whimper
It was the same dress I wore to Michael's party.
3 years ago...
"Just try it on!" Erica pleads
"Fine!" I say and grab my shoes and the dress and go into the bathroom.
"I can't believe I'm doing this..." I put on the dress and Erica smirks at me.
"Michael!" She calls and I wish I could stab her.
Erica walks out as he walks in.
I cross my legs and bite my lip hoping this is just a nightmare.
He slowly walks over to me
"Laura is this?" He says and notices his scent on the dress and answers his own question.
"It is..." Michael says
"Mike-" I say but he kisses me
"I'm in love with you all over again..." He whispers in my ear and I smile
"I knew you loved me from the very start. Even after you rejected me." I say and he growls in satisfaction.
"I'll get Jessy ready for the dinner." I say after changing and go down stairs with Michael and George walks over to me. Michael glances at me with lust and I blush.
"Laura!" He says and then asks me thousands of questions.
It feels like hours but then Michael's wolf takes control.
His fangs come out and George doesn't realize.
I know what he's about to say
'MINE!'
"George maybe you should go." I say and he goes away.
I hug Mike letting him breathe in my scent calming him letting the real him surface.
"Can I tell you a story?" I ask
"I guess so." He says
"Gabriel and I dated for a year. He was so possessive he threw me in a closet when his friends came by even if they had already mated because he thought they would want to mark me! He thought I was his mate. But I knew I wasn't. I tried to break up with him over and over but he wouldn't take it. When he found his real mate he killed her infront of me... I ran away. I don't want you to end up like that." I whimper
I've always had trust issues after what Mike did...
"Jessy sweetie are you ready?" I call and Michael holds me
"Sorry." He whispers
"For everything."
