Michael POV:
I see Laura lying in bed staring intently at her book.
She throw her head back and groans and drops the book
"You ok?" I ask and she looks unwell.
I notice she is shaking abut and clutching her stomach
"Babe?" I say and sit next to her
She shakes her self and then seems normal
"Michael I thought-" she begins but then indulges herself in my scent and sighs
"Continue." I say
"I thought you were...Gabriel..." She whimpers and I know it's time for the truth
"He's dead. I killed him...and Jules." I whimper and then slap a hand over my mouth.
She didn't seem to hear.
Then I realize she's purring.
Her loving wolf occasionally flashing in her eyes.
I wake up and see her holding me tighter than usually.
She is smiling so I let her and stay with her.
Laura POV:
I wake up before Michael and hear him say things in his sleep.
'Laura must be Luna.'
'Laura'
'Julia is dead'
Over and over.
I begin to sleep again. When I wake up for the second time I see him awake stroking my hair and I smile.
I then worry and throw my clothes on and run to Jessy's room where she is still sleeping so I walk back and he meets me there and kiss me and holds me by my hips.
"She's fine." I say.
"Let's go down stairs and make some breakfast." He suggests and I nod.
Dan walks to us in the kitchen. I'm wearing Michael's lumberjack shirt again that is much to long for me. But I still wear shorts.
"I hate to be rude but who the howl is she alpha!" Dan growls at Michael and I run upstairs sobbing a bit
"I thought you'd respect your Luna." He snarls.
I hear everything.
"Here's the thing." He explains everything and he gapes at him
"Shut up." Michael snarls and I sit on the stairs with my face in my hands.
He walks over and suddenly picks me up like a kid.
Dan seems to have gone and I lighten up
"What are you doing" I laugh
The He kisses my cheek and sets me down. Jessy walks down the stairs.
I feel a rush of heat and sweaty palms roll over me.
I panic.
Obviously Michael's wolf notices so Michael whispers in my ear
"Heat." He said and I calm down
"Heya sweetie!" I say and she hugs me and Michael
"Momma. I want to see Kylie." Jessy has been whining for two nights to see Katy's daughter.
"Soon sweetie." I say and Michael gets a text for Jack
"Hey Jessy?" Mike asks
"Yeah." She beams
"Wanna hang out with Lizzy?" He asks
Lizzy is Jack's girl who is the same age as Jessy
"Yay!" Jessy smiles and one hour later Jack comes to take them to the amusement park.
I kiss Jessy good bye and then run off to the car.
"So Laura..." Michael says
"Yeah?" I respond
"Maybe you and me should get to know each other better. And for me: Jessy." He proposes
"Sure!" I say
"So what's a 'floofie'?" He asks
"Jessy blanket from when she was a baby. My parents gave it to her." I explain
Then it's my turn and I want to ask a burning question...
"What was the deal with you and Julia?"
