Epilogue

Laura POV:
One year has passed since my ceremony,
I gave birth to a little boy and girl. They are only 5 months old.
Jack and Jake still act like 5 year olds.
I look at Jake resting on a lounge chair.
Lizzy and Jessy sneak up behind him.
She's almost five now and she barely remembers how she got her scar.
But I do...
Blake and I got married a year and a half ago.
I can't help but remember everything he did to me.
Every night my nightmare scares me to tears.
Of course he's there and tries to comfort me.
I'll never tell him the reason.
I have a feeling Jessica's experience with finding her mate won't go smoothly either...
Blake grabs my hand and I smile.
I see a face hiding behind glasses and a newspaper.
We are at the pool.
Lizzy and Jessy scare the daylight S out of Jake and he jumps into the pool.
Michael falls over laughing in the pool.
I still sit on a lounge chair and smirk and roll my eyes at Mike.
He flicks back his now wet hair and grabs my hand.
"Cmon get in!" He coaxes
"No way." I say and hide under the blanket I have over my swimsuit.
He mindlinks me and tries to coax me into it.
It's your fault I'm self-conscious
I mindlink him and growl.
He smirks and a light flickers in his eyes.
I blush and hide my face.
Sorry I brought that up...
I whimper in apology through mindlink and he still smirks.
"Laura cmon!" He grins and I see the figure peek at me through the newspaper.
"Blake. I think I've seen him somewhere before." I whisper and point secretly at the guy.
"I'd know that guy anywhere..." He snarls and Jessy walks over.
"Momma why are you hiding in the towel?" Jessy asks
"No reason sweetie. Could you ask Erica how Serenity and Kole are?" I ask and she smiles
"Sure you thing Mommy!" Jessy grins and skips off with Lizzy to talk with Erica.
I see Mike yelling at the guy.
"Alpha, she's just sooo-"
It's GEORGE!
That ass has been following me!
"She's mine! You are sentenced to the dungeon for 2 years!" Mike yells
I shake and Mike comes over to me.
"Look baby, it's not like I'm gonna do it again right?" He smiles and I smile too.
I get out from the towel and jump in the pool.
"Nice body." I hear a stranger whisper and I try to snarl but whimper.
Mike hugs me and I sigh.
"Shh Babe..." He grins and I purr.
"Mama!" I hear Serenity whimper.
I jump out the pool and crouch down next to her.
"Shh sweetie." I smile and kiss her head.
"Mamie." She purrs a bit and I kiss her cheek on more time.
I walk to Kole and kiss his head.
I check that Jessy is ok before I hide in the lockers.
"Babe?" I hear Mike ask.
"Over here..." I whimper
I cradle Serenity in my arms and she kicks her legs as if she wants to swim like her sister.
"Why are you holding her in here?" He asks
"I'm embarrassed!" I sigh
"Give her here." He smirks and I pass her to him.
He sets her down on the wet floor and she sobs.
He leans in on me.
He kisses me.
I blush and he smirks.
"Mike..." I grumble
"I really wanna shift..." I blush bright red and he grins.
"First time I've ever made you do that." He smirks
"Cmon lets go back to the pool." He smiles and I pick up Serenity.
"Here sweetie." I give her to Erica and I step into the pool.
"Momma watch this!" Jessy calls and I look at her.
She does a handstand and then a front flip.
"Great job Jessy!" I call
"I'm going on the slide with Lizzy!" She giggles and I grin.
Then Mike's phone buzzes over and over for half an hour.
"Mike are you ever gonna check that phone?" Jack asks and Mike rolls his eyes.
I giggle and get out the pool and go check on Serenity.
Michael POV:
Jessy says she is gonna go down the slide to which I give her a thumbs up.
My phone buzzes for like an hour before Jack tells me to check it.
"Fine." I grumble and get out.
Laura goes over to Kole and Serenity.
A heap of texts from George bombard my phone.
I look at them and gulp.
Look Alpha. Your title means nothing to me! She belongs to me. You rejected her so she is up for grabs! She is MINE!
After four I was ready to puke but I looked at Laura and she has her teeth clenched and is clutching her arm.
"Laura?" I throw down my phone and rush to her.
"It's nothing Blake! I'm fine!" She whines
She has a habit of not telling me when something bad has happened.
She doesn't like it when I'm pissed.
"Lift your hand." I grumble and she sighs and does so.
Three scars lay there.
I know she'll get scared if I react badly.
I just nuzzle her neck.
"You'll be fine." I lie through my teeth.
I mean how can I know?
She looks at me
I catch Jessy's eye and she whimpers.
Jealous Sadness.
My wolf informs me.
Of course... She's jealous because I wasn't there when she was Kole and Serenity's age and even know I treat her like she's invisible.
Laura glares at me.
"Mike. What happened." Laura snaps
"George. Phone. You. Puke." I can only muster these words at the moment.
She's a bit freaked out now.
I can tell.
Her touch kinda soothes me a bit.
She places her hand on my hip and pulls me close and hugs me.
Mate know cure for everything!
My wolf purrs.
Puppy Love when we are already together.
I inhale her scent and I feel fine again.
I then pick up Kole.
I place a hand on her belly and it vibrates.
He cries pretty loudly.
I grab a bottle for our bag and he drinks really fast.
He still cries though.
I burp him and he stops he falls asleep on my shoulder and I grin.
We all go home and Jessy hugs me.
"Daddy I'm scared." She whimpers.
"Baby Doll why's that?" I ask
"I just scared about getting a mate when I'm older... What if he leaves? What if he's too possessive?" She whimpers and sobs a bit.
"Don't worry. Not even is as much of a crud bag as me." I chuckle and she hugs me.
"I love you." She sighs
"I love you too." I grin and turn on the TV for her.
A wolf rushes down the stairs.
Laura did say she wanted to shift.
I see her holding Serenity and Kole on her back know wide awake and pulling up her fur.
"Help. Me." She says through clenched teeth.
I pick up both of them and lightly spank their butts.
"Bad. No hurt mommy." I scold and they sob a bit
"Jessy could you watch them for a minute?" I ask and she nods.
I follow Laura upstairs and she automatically falls on the floor.
"Babe you need to sleep." I smirk and kiss her wolf forehead and lift her into bed.
"I love you babe." I smile and run down stairs and sit with my kids.
Jessy and the others fall asleep.
Jessy on my shoulder, and Serenity and Kole on my 6-pack.
Laura POV:
I wake up and creep downstairs.
I see Mike asleep with the kids.
"Baby why are you awake." I hear him speak and realize he wasn't sleeping.
"Ummm...uh..." I mumble
"I thought you wouldn't have a reason. Go back to bed." He scolds and I just stand there with my mouth wide open.
"Blake. I was actually-" I blush and hold my hand
"Babe." Blake says and places the kids on the couch.
He walks over and scowls at me.
"Go to bed! You need the sleep!" He growls and I snarl, clench my fists, and my fangs come out.
His hand comes towards my shoulder to calm me down but I slap it away.
I run out the door and go into the woods.
I see a puddle and stare at myself, my veins bulging showing my black blood.
Yellow eyes replacing my green ones.
My fangs out.
I whimper.
What have I done.
I smell Mike's wolf scent so I shift and run away from the smell.
I eventually fall asleep in a bed of long grass.
I wake up with Mike on top of me.
"Mike?" I try to speak but just collapse again.
Michael POV:
Laura collapses again and I nuzzle her but she just won't wake up.
I take her to the pack Doctor and he yells words I can't understand.
"Three claw marks, strange wolf reactions, and unwakeable sleep?!" He screams and I nod.
"George is tying to reform a mate connection!" Doc says and I break a table.
"WHAT?!" I scream and he blinks
"Yes, he is reforming her connection with you into a connection with him..." I grab Laura and take her to our bed room I kiss her hoping she will wake up.
Her eyes flutter and she grabs my hand.
"Help." She whispers and tries to stay awake.
I lock the door and close the blinds.
She sighs in pain and I frown.
This ain't gonna be fun...
Laura POV:
I wake up a day later.
Mike isn't there and I know what we did earlier.
I call his name and he enters the room with Kole and Serenity.
They chew on his shirt and he passes them to me.
They giggle and nuzzle me.
"Blake what's happening to me?" I ask and he rubs the back of his head and then tells me.
"I wanna-" I start a threat but then remember that my kids are right here.
"Michael?" I see Mike's wolf surface and he dashes out of the room.
Serenity pulls down the sheet and exposes half of my naked body.
"Serenity no! Bad girly!" I scold and she breaks out crying.
"WAAAAAAAHHHHH!" She cries
I pull on my clothes leaving them on the bed for a few minutes.
I scoop them up and cradle them in my arms.
Serenity tries to tug my shirt down but I nip her little hand she whimpers and stops.
"Let's go find daddy." I smile sleepily and Kole nuzzles me so I stay awake
