Bonus Chapter

Laura POV:
I wake up and Mike is thrashing around.
I snort and he rushes to me.
"Mike?" I ask and he pants.
"Can't find it!" He yells and I hug him,
"Calm down." I groan and pull the sheets over me again.
I purr and mumble.
Mike walks over to me.
"Laura!" He groans.
I clench my stomach.
"Michael I literally can't leave this bed. My stomach hurts like hell." I whimper and he sits next to me.
"I can't find the papers that prove your my mate and Luna!" He says and puts his head in his hands.
I tense.
I grab Mike's arm and pull myself closer to him.
I grunt as I move.
He looks at me.
"It hurts..." I mutter.
He nods and rushes to the pact Doctor.
I groan and the doctor walks in.
"I'll have to pull up her shirt." He says and Michael growls.
I hide my face and Mike snarls but nods.
Mike snarls when he gets to close making the doctor remove his hands.
"She'll be fine." He says and walks out.
Mike goes to get the kids.
Mike passes me the little ones and Jessy smiles.
"Laura. My dad is coming." He gulps and I shrug
"So?" I say
"He cannot know I have a mate." I feel him tense I suddenly get very hostile.
"Why the heck not." I growl suddenly jumping out of bed.
"He just can't! Could you pretend to be my beta or somethin?" He pleads and I snarl
"Well since we're playing this game why don't I just leave." I snarl and he frowns.
"Laura..." He says and I roll my eyes.
I hear a sudden horn beep outside.
I step onto the balcony.
"Oh no." I gulp
"My parents are here." I say and pass Mike Kole and Serenity.
"Keep them safe and away from my parents."I say and he nods.
I grab Jessy and rush to the door.
"LAURA. WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING HERE." They demand.
"I-I-" I shake
"Momma?" Jessy says and I pick her up.
"I THOUGHT WE SAID TO STAY AWAY FROM ALPHA WHEN THAT IDIOT-" I know what my mom is about to say so I cover Jessy's ears
"MOM!" I snap and she realizes that her grand daughter is there.
She still goes red.
"STILL! I THOUGHT WE SAID TO NOT GO NEAR ALPHA'S EVER SIMCE THAT BOY DESTROYED YOU!!!" My father yells and I cry.
I run away in a direction I don't know.
I cry as I do so.
Jessy looks at me
"Momma? Why are Grandma and Grandpa so mad?" She asks
"Sweetie. I tell you when your older." I sob and she nods.
I sit down to catch my breath.
I see my parents storm over in my direction.
"Sweetie. Run. Run to Daddy. Now. Don't let anyone near you except him or Dan ok?" I say and she nods and dashes off.
I stand up and my parents get right in front of me.
"LAURA DO YOU EVEN REMEMBER WHAT THAT BOY DID?!" My dad screams and I nod.
"I do. And even though he rejected me. Left me pregnant. And disappeared. I still love my daughter. And unlike you. I care about my daughter." I say and storm off.
They are left speechless behind me.
I scowl and start walking in the direction of where Jessy went.
I sigh.
I open the door to the alpha house and look for Mike.
I see him in the living room talking to a man older than him.
"Son, you gotta find a mate." The old man says
"Dad I have." Mike grumbles.
"Julia ain't your mate!" The older man says and I shudder.
"Well old man it 'ain't' Julia!" Mike snarls his wolf showing.
"Mikey, with all due respect. That ain't true. And I don't like seein that wolf of yours." He says
Mike's wolf takes over and before I know what happens Jessy winks at me arm skips over to him.
"Daddy!" She squeaks and hugs him.
The old man's jaw drops.
Jessy giggling and Mike blushes.
I dash behind the kitchen counter.
"You have a kid!? Who's the mother?!" The old man flips.
"Cmon Laura. He isn't THAT evil." Mike chuckles and I slowly walk over.
I grab Jessy and pick her up.
I sit down next to Mike and he raps his arm around me.
"Well I never. Mikey you've done me proud." The old man smiles.
I blush a little and hug Mike.
"So. What are your names?" The old man says
"I'm Jessy!" Jessy pipes up
"What's ya full name?" He asks
"Momma told me when I was 1 that my name is Jessica Ashlynn Rachel Smith." Jessy says and I hide my face.
"That's a pretty name. Now sweetie go play while I speak with your parents." The old man says and Jessy nods.
I bury my face in Michael's neck and he feels my embarrassment and tension.
"So you two. I have a bone to pick with you." The old man says
"How come she don't have my last name." He frowns and I don't look up
"Well Dad, it's time we tell you a story that might make my mate cry." Michael says and I look up.
"At my birthday party we were drunk and we slept together. I realized we were mates and didn't like the thought so I got out of there leaving my mate in bed. When she woke up she was quick enough to get to me where I.... Rejected her." Michael chokes on his words and I silently cry
"Laura, sweetie, don't cry, actually... Cry your heart out I'm a ass hat." Michael sigh and he lets me lean on him.
"When I was going to talk to the Nevada pact I found her in a diner. Thing is, I had no idea we had a child. So naturally I was shocked and she was scared of me.
I forced her to come with not wanting to lose her and for some reason she's stayed." Michael says
"And from your point of view, ya know, after he rejected you." The older man asks
"Um well, of course I was heart broken, I had to take a pregnancy test but I was too scared. My friend read it for me and bam. That's how Jessy came to be. I when to live with my aunt in navada hoping to never see Mike again, naturally I was scared that he would reject out child as well."  I sigh and for Mike this is the first time hearing this.
"And for me it was torture looking at Jessy. She looks just like Mike." I finish and he nods.
"Well that's a mouthful! I'm guessing your Luna now?" He asks and I nod.
"Well then, I'm David. Nice to meet ya." He says and I shake his hand.
"You do look a bit angry. I can sense it." David says.
"My mom and dad... They dot know I'm back with Mike and disapprove me being near this alpha." I quote they're words.
"I'll talk to them." David says and I thank him.
I go out into the blazin sun and feel like a vampire.
I find my parents and David scowls.
"I hear you got a problem with ma son." David snarls.
"As a matter of fact we do! We do not want alpha's around our daughter after what one did to her! Rejected her and left her pregnant!" They snap and David tuts.
"What if they love each other hmm? What if they fixed things and my gran daughter is over joyed to finally have her father? You wanna rip them apart?" David growls and the gasp and stare at me.
I want Mike by my side.
"Now you leave them ALONE." He growls and they dash to they're car
"I can't thank you enough." I sigh and he chuckles
"No thanks necessary." He grins.
Mike rushes to me.
He hugs me and runs his finger down my mark.
I close my eyes and purr quietly.
"See ya next month!" David calls and we wave goodbye.
I sigh and climb the stairs to our room and snuggle under the sheets.
Jessy is taking the day to spend with her friend.
I look at Mike.
I mindlink him.
"What's wrong?" I say and he blocks me.
I frown.
What's happening.
I touch his shoulder he brushes me off.
