After having dinner, Jimin and Jungkook helped Jin clean up the place and clear out the traces.

While Taehyung and I were sitting in a corner, waiting for everyone to finish.

We had decided to leave this place at midnight. Where? We still didn't know, but it was atleast safer to be on the move than to stay at this petrol station. It would only be a matter of time they found us, seeing how close the institute was from here.

Taehyung nudged my arm with his elbow and snapped me out of my thoughts.

I turned to looked at him as he pulled up his hoodie from his new black sweater.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked, without looking at me. His voice sounded low and something told me that he was a bit annoyed by the fact that I was quiet. His eyes were focused in the distance as the sun had already set, but there was still a nice yellow glow on the horizon for him to admire.

"N-nothing..." I stammered.

He let out a soft chuckle. "You can tell me everything, Sarang. We are family." He said. It reminded me of Namjoon when he first mentioned this in my room.

"I know." I muttered.

"Is something bothering you?" He urged, and he turned to look down at me.

I gulped and shook my head. "N-no, it's fine."

His gaze was penetrating and I felt a shiver run down my spine. Something felt odd about him and I couldn't get used to it.

His lips were put on a straight line, before he twitched his corners and broke into a smile.

"Look at you," he pointed. "Never seen a boy up close, have you?"

I was taken aback from his sudden remark.

What?

He chuckled slightly and went on.

"Got you there!" He winked with his eye and stuck out his tongue between his teeth.

I laughed weakly with him and noticed that he can switch moods so easily. And it scared me a bit.

"No, if you are worried. I can-"

A sound from far away caught his attention and he turned his head before he had finished his sentence. He frowned slightly when his eyes focused back into the direction he looked to earlier.

From afar, I heard Jungkook yell and kick an empty beer bottle against the wall. The glass shattered and Yoongi and Jimin cheered.

Taehyung visibly relaxed when he realized it was Jungkook. He cursed lowly under his breath, before he peered back at me.

"Sorry, I thought I heard something. But apparently, it was just that moron of a Seagull."

I chuckled and Yoongi came to us with his lighter. He peered down at me and then shifted his eyes at Taehyung.

"What are you guys talking about?" he asked us. I shook my head and Taehyung looked a bit annoyed at Yoongi.

"Go away, hyung. I was having a chat with Sarang." Taehyung ordered him, and then looked at me with a weak smile.

Yoongi raised an eyebrow and cocked his head. "She doesn't even look like she is trying to talk to you,"

Yoongi smirked and I felt burdened. I quickly raised my hands and shook my head, as Taehyung had widened his eyes.

"N-no, it's just..." I staggered, but Taehyung took it the wrong way. He snorted and turned his head with a slight pout.

"Whatever," he scoffed under his breath and looked back into the distance, ignoring the triumphal expression on Yoongi's face.
