Knowing that I was already being used, I felt disgusted of myself. How was it possible that I didn't know? How could I be so stupid?
I couldn't cope with the feelings. I started to hate myself. I felt angry.
"And to think that you were trying to help me..." I muttered.
My dad nodded. "You were perfect. You could join them without suspicion. You having bad dreams was a extra benefit,"
I couldn't believe it. This was messed up. My parents were messed up.
"H-how can I live with myself knowing all this..." I muttered and my dad smirked again.
"You feel sorry for them, right? You're so much alike as Naeun."
I shook my head. "No, this has to stop."
Looking from side to side, I saw something shiny in his chest pocket. Running towards him, I quickly snatched it from him and inched the metal sharp tip against my neck.
Tears ran down again and I wished I wouldn't have to do it, but I had no choice. This was horrible.
My dad widened his eyes for a whole second until he softened his gaze.
"What are you doing?"
I felt the sharp tip against my neck and threatened him.
"If I kill myself, then you won't have anyone anymore to carry out your plan," I told him. My dad eyed me calm and his lips were in a thin line.
"It would be sad, yes. But you wouldn't dare to kill yourself off. Even the sight of a bit of blood scares you."
I gulped. He was right, but after knowing this, I didn't see the point in living anymore. This has to stop. I don't want my dad to use me again.
Then a thought hit me. Was this how Naeun felt too? Did Naeun know about this?
And it surprised me how strangely calm my dad was. There was something wrong.
"Then prove it. Kill yourself in front of me." He told me and crossed his arms, looking expectantly.
I gulped and pressed the tip harder against my neck, feeling it cutting my skin.
"Noona, you will come back right?" Jungkook's words started to echo through my mind all of a sudden.
"Don't be like Naeun,"
My eyes widened when I realized something.
"Me committing suicide was also part of the plan, wasn't it?" I said and lowered the scalpel. "Naeun did it, didn't she? She killed herself, not because of fear but because she thought she would protect the boys."
My dad frowned.
"But instead, it caused them to go berserk like how you had expected. And now with me. You're trying to make them go berserk again. Especially Jungkook." I continued. I understand now. "And it's interesting because I'm Naeun's twin. Double suicide coming from the person with the same blood and appearance. Double impact and deja vu's occurences."
My dad was sly and pure evil. I always knew he was good at making plans. And it wouldn't surprise me if he had it all in his sick mind planned out.
"You're learning fast. It seems like you got my intelligence, instead of Naeun." He responded.
I narrowed my eyes and dropped the scalpel.
"I won't kill myself." I told him. My dad made a disapproving sound and clasped his hands together to lean his nose on it.
"I guess I made a miscalculation. I underestimated you."
I smirked and raised my chin.
"Then let's see who is the smartest."
"You won't win," he muttered.
I laughed. "You forget the fact that I'm your daughter."
Without saying furthermore, I sped towards the door and exited the room. I was expecting my dad to send his guards, but surprisingly no one followed me.
I guess he let me off.
Running through the hallways, I didn't care where I went to and just randomly changed direction, hoping to see something I was looking for.
I hoped it would succeed. It was just a stupid thought but the more I thought about it, the chances were high.
"Come on!" I snapped to myself.
It has to be somewhere in this building. It has to be!
A few guards noticed me and started to shout at me. Soon, they got on their feet and chased me.
"You! Stop!"
They grabbed their phone and started to call for someone.
"Choi Sarang, I repeat Choi Sarang!" I heard.
Then I heard the intercom. It was the voice of my dad. It wouldn't surprise me if he had realized what I was planning.
"GET CHOI SARANG!" He shouted through.
I bit my lip and forced my legs to run faster. Not looking back, I turned left and finally found what I was looking for.
Grabbing a chair from the ground, I lifted it up and threw it against the glass that was protecting the handle.
Hearing it crack and footsteps behind me, I broke the glass with my knuckles and grabbed onto the hendle. Pulling it down, an ear piercing sound went through the whole building and water started to sprinkle from the ceiling.
Fire alarm.
Confused maids and butlers went out of their room and I sped through them.
The people walking out of their rooms confused blocked the guards from catching me and I laughed.
My hair was getting wet and my wet clothes started to slow me.
Panting, I remembered the shortcut Taehyung told me and I headed towards the room, hoping to find them there.
Once there, I bumped against a confused Jin who held onto me.
I was too out of breath to explain everything, so I grabbed his wrist and pulled him inside the room. There I saw six other people standing, drenched from the water. When they saw me out of breath, they smirked.
"You found the fire alarm. Genius!" Jimin smirked.
Hoseok put on his snapback and motioned that we should follow him.
"Follow me and we shall have freedom!"
