"What's up with everyone?"

"So... are you here because of that wound or do you want to talk or...?"

He shifted his feet and looked rather uncomfortable.

"Uh... I just came from Jimin's room." I told him.

"Jimin? Why would you go to his room?" He chuckled and wiped off his lips with his fingers.

"He was crazy. He dragged me into it, claiming that I owed him an explanation,"

"Well, it sounds like something that jamless monster would say," he snickered and sat down on his bed with his hands clasped. "You know that he has those tendencies?"

"What tendencies?"

Namjoon flicked his finger and shook his head. "You really don't know?"

I shook my head.

"He's jamless and a bit erotomanic and obsessive after his first break-up."

I gulped. "He is? "

He nodded. "You better stay away from him. Everything you do would be a sign for him to make a move. He's an jamless effort-type, so be careful."

I frowned and looked down. "Then what about the others, Yoongi, Taehyung and you?"

He let out a low laugh.

"Me? I don't suffer from anything. I just have a small problem with the word 'jams'." He confessed.

"Like using it in everything?"

He nodded shortly and frowned. "Is it that noticeable?"

I wanted to say yes but the way how he looked at me made me respond otherwise.

"No,"

He smiled and leant back against the wall. "You've got jams,"

Sure, I thought with sarcasm. Really, the more time I spend here, the more stranger they become.

"Well, V, I mean Taehyung is more of an airhead, suffering from borderline."

Well, it explains that quick change of behaviour earlier.

"And Yoongi, or Suga is pyromaniac. After falling into depression that is."

"Were they mostly born with it?" I asked. He shook his head and darkened his expression.

"Every person is born with traits. Some allels become dominant and some not. A few of us were triggered after... something happened, making us who we are now,"

I frowned and looked at him.

"What is that something?"

He put his finger against his lips when he heard faint sounds coming from the hallway.

"Lower your voice. This can't be discussed on a daily basis. It's one of the reasons why they keep watching us," he whispered.

I turned to the door and then back at him.

"But I want to know," I whispered. He nodded and motioned that he will tell but only if that person behind the door was gone.

We waited a few minutes and soon, the person walked away from the door.

He let out a sigh and started talking louder again.

"For Jimin's case, the break-up left his heart broken. The girl never liked him and yet dated him only because Jimin was popular. Jimin fell head over heels with her and did everything she asked him. Even if it meant sleeping with her. As Jimin is quite shy and conserved with sexual interaction, he wanted to do it if only she was the right one... and at that moment he thought she was."

"So... they did it and then she left him?" I asked. He slowly nodded but then raised his finger.

"That's not all. Jimin couldn't cope with the heartbreak, so he admitted himself in here. When he first came in, he was only in need for comfort. Nothing more. If they just let him talk out his feelings he would be able to leave soon after. But no... he didn't."

"Why?"

He sighed and closed his eyes for a second. "You should consider yourself lucky that I'm the only one who's able to talk about this..."

I raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

He scratched his head and expressed himself with his hands. "Look. When everyone was admitted here at the start, we had little to no symptoms of our mental problems. We could pass as normal people if we didn't meet that one girl here."

"Girl? Which girl?"

"Exact two years before your arrival, a girl used to live here with us. Her name was Naeun. We liked her very much and she hung out a lot with us. She was someone that could make us forget about our problems and be our strenght and inspiration. For some of us a bit more important than the other."

I held in my breath and waited for him to say it out loud. Seeing my expression, he nodded.

"Taehyung and Jimin fell in love with her. Suga seemed to like her a lot, too but didn't show since he was shy. Jin liked her as a younger sister he could watch over and to Hoseok, Jungkook and I, she was our best friend. But one day..." he gulped. "We had our interrogations. They said they found a new way to heal us and it was the method you have gone through, too. Naeun couldn't cope with it and committed suicide right on the spot during her interrogation."

She committed suicide?

Namjoon's expression turned sad and he avoided my eyes.

"What happened after that?"

"We grieved. It had a big impact on us. No one seemed to be able to cope with it and we lost control. We did whatever we pleased, even to the extent that Taehyung killed a man out of anger."

He... did what? I widened my eyes and my palms started to sweat. I never expected this would have happened.

"And we became unstable as a group. We stood up against them, only to be beaten up to pulp. And that's when I came to realize that this house isn't what it seemed like. It was their plan all along. Nothing was a coincidence. Even meeting Naeun and befriending her wasn't."
