I flinched when I heard someone calling for me.

"Sarang-sshi,"

I turned and looked at the boy standing with his back against the wall. He had one hand in his pocket and the other held onto a lollipop.
He popped the lollipop out of his mouth and smirked.

"What do you want?"

He shrugged and arched his eyebrows.

"I like the sound of your voice."

I looked at him and didn't know what to say. Was he complimenting me?

He snickered and walked away from the wall over to me. Putting his hands in his jacket, he leant down and stared at me.

"I can see why the others are slowly falling for you. I understand now," his eyes scanned my face up and down, before he twitched his lip and licked it.

Breathing out, he changed his expression and gave me a friendly smile.

"I don't think I have introduced myself properly. I'm Taehyung, but you can also call me V."

I frowned and was taken aback by his sudden kindness.

"What's the matter?" I asked with caution.

He chuckled and slit his eyes.

"Nothing, you're the same age as I am, right? Let's become friends." He told me and stuck out his hand. I looked at it and then was about to shake it until something hit me.

"How do you know we're the same age?"

Seeing my hand stop midway, he smiled again and grabbed my hand to shake.

He waited, before responding. "I didn't. That's why I asked."

He smiled again and it made me smile too. Then he put an arm around my shoulder and guided me through the hallways.

"If you are trying to go to our place, go through this hallway. It's much shorter." He told me as he looked sideways.

"I can go to your place?" I asked surprised. I always thought that their room wasn't allowed for me to enter.

He looked down at me and tightened his arm around me.
His breath stroke against my cheek and he snickered.

"You're family now," he muttered.

My heart beat when I heard him say it. In all the years that I have ever lived, never had someone told me these kind things before. Never has anyone treated me this warm before.

But, somewhere in my mind was a feeling as if this was a bit too strange.
Namjoon and him were totally different people, now and I'm not quite sure if he could be trusted.

When we stood in front of the door, he opened it for me and let me in the gigantic room. I never knew how big it was until I stood in the middle.

The ceiling was high and plated with gold. The walls had portraits of every member and the fire was still there giving me a nice warmth.

V closed the door and leant against it, watching me take every step. In fact, he was actually observing me until I looked at him questioning.

"Is this the place where all members spend their time during the day?" I asked him.

V nodded and from another door, Jungkook entered the room.

He stood still when he saw me, and I could see that he was thinking about how to talk to me.

"Err...hm..." he stuttered. His cheeks flushed red and his eyes were widened, looking quite innocent and a bit lost.

I decided to break the silence. "Hi, how are you doing?" I asked him.

Jungkook didn't say anything and walked over to the couch. Patting the place next to him, he eyed me expectantly.

"I'll leave you two alone to talk," V said from the door and soon disappeared through the door where Jungkook came from.

"Wai-t hyung-" Jungkook peeped but he was too late. The room only consisted of me and him.

Patting the place next to him again, he blinked at me with his big eyes.

"Okay," I muttered and walked over to sit next to him. When I sat down, I saw him gulping and turning away shyly.

"I'm Jungkook," he finally said. "Earlier..."

His voice began to trail off but I cut him off.

"It's okay. I know you are Jungkook." He blinked his eyes at me and his mouth was slightly open from surprise.

"You do?"

I nodded and looked at him.

"I know you're also gynophobic."

He smiled and nodded gratefully that he didn't need to explain himself.

"But you can talk to me. I'll try my best to not faint," he told me.

I smiled and nodded. I didn't know Jungkook could be so friendly.

"But I also need to tell you, when I do faint, please try and catch me. Or else I will hurt when I wake up." He told me, trying to twitch his lip in a weak smile.

Although his disorder seemed bad, I couldn't help but laugh at his wish.

I nodded and a silence occurred between us. We both didn't know what to say and the tension between us was rising.

"Ehm... How old are you?" I asked, trying to start a conversation.

He blinked his eyes at me and waited until my question has fully progressed into his mind. I could see he was still distracted by the fact that I was a girl.

"E-Eighteen," he stuttered.

I nodded and he motioned his hands to ask mine, instead of using his voice.

"Twenty," I muttered.

He widened his eyes and cocked his head. "You look younger."

"Eh, thanks?"

I wasn't used to the boys giving me compliments. This was a strange day.

There was a silence again. But not for long as we heard a knock on the door and two people dressed in white with a clipboard barged in.

We stood up and looked at them with a frown. Staring at us with a serious look, the one with the glasses spoke:

"Choi Sarang, it's time for your interrogation."
