The 12 year...
February~ The group began performances for their second promotional single, "Miracle", from their debut album. "Miracle" topped the music charts of Thailand , drawing interest from international markets.
March 17~ The group's first international performance at the 5th Pattaya Music Festival.
March 30~ "Mystery 6" started broadcast.

Early 2006~ At the end of promotions for "Miracle", SM created a list of members who are to be graduated from the group, and started selecting new members to replace them as the next generation of the group, Super Junior'06. Eunhyuk indirectly once explained, in a variety show, that SHINee might have been a part of Super Junior, if the rotational concept has continued.
May~ Kyuhyun joined the group as the 13th member. The rotational group concept was abandoned as Kyuhyun joined the group. The boy band was simply called "Super Junior" afterwards.
"Super Adonis Camp" started broadcast.
May 25~ Release of single "U" for free download on Super Junior official website. "U" exceeded 400,000 downloads within five hours of release and ultimately surpassed 1.7 million downloads, crashing the server.
May 23~ Kyuhyun's first appearance as a Super Junior member in a news broadcast.
May 27~ Debut performance of Kyuhyun, "U" at SBS's I-concert. "Full House" started broadcast.
June 07~ Release of the physical single of "U".

It included the three tracks "U", "Endless Moment", and "Lovely Day". It sold over 81 000 units in South Korea. The single became one of Korea's most popular songs of the year, taking up number one spots for five consecutive weeks on two of Korea's top music programs.
