April~ Formation of the group's third sub-unit, Super Junior-M, a Mandapop subgroup, with Hankyung, Siwon, Donghae, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Henry and Zhoumi.

Release of Super Junior-H first single / EP (Extended Play), "Cooking?Cooking!". The album sold closer to 2000 units on the first day of release.

June 07~ Dream Concert Super Junior-H debut performance of their first single, "Cooking? Cooking!" at the Dream Concert.
June 10~ "Cooking? Cooking!", SJ-H mv release
July~ "Idol Show" / "Idol Army" (season one by SJ-H) started broadcast.
July 08~ Held First Premium Event (two-day fan meeting) in Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan. About 12 000 tickets were sold within several days.
July 09~ Release of the compiled single, "U/Twins". This included the Japanese version of "U" in the limited release version, to complement the First Premium Event held in Tokyo, Japan. The single peaked at number four on Japan's Oricon Daily Chart on its first day of release, and dropped down four places on its second. The single broke a new record for being the first Korean single to have made within top 10 on Japan's Oricon Weekly Chart.
August~ SMTown Live '08 (2008–2009) commencement in Seoul, South Korea.
August 4~ "Pajama Party", SJ-H mv release (second single from 'Cooking?Cooking!' album).
September 13~ "Me", SJ-M mv release.
October~ "One Love" video release.
November 5~ Debut of Super Junior-T in Japan, collaborating with Japanese comedy duo Moeyan. Release of Super Junior-T first Japanese single, "ROCK&GO", the Japanese version of their Korean album, "Rokkugo". "Rock&Go", SJ-T mv release. The single started at number nineteen on Japan's Oricon Daily Chart on its first day of release, and ascended to number two, three days afterwards.
