I woke up around seven in the morning, feeling perky and nice. Last night had definitely been the top contributor to my good mood this morning. I shook my head, a smile on my face. Who knew we could actually be that friendly to each other? I obviously didn't. It was as if the forces of the world teamed up for once and made everything go well!

Humming a tune under my breath, I went downstairs and checked Nana's room and found out that she still wasn't there. Hm, she sure was having a good time, alright.

I made a beeline for the kitchen and made myself a PB&J sandwich, making a smiley face with the strawberry jam.

"I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world," I sang while spreading peanut butter all over the bread, "Life in plastic--,"

My concert was broken by the sound of doorbell ringing. It must be Nana. With both Kieran and I forgetting our keys last night, I wouldn't be surprised if she did, too. Leaving my PB&J for now, I walked towards the front door, continuing my concert where I was cut off.

"--it's fantastic! You can brush my hair," I opened the door with a big smile, "Undress me everywhere..."

"I'd be happy to," an overly-enthusiastic voice answered back.

I trailed off with my song, growing red at the sight of a stranger standing in front of me. Not Nana at all. With my body acting before I could even think, I slammed the door close.

I took a deep breathe and collected my thoughts. Maybe I was just imagining things. Maybe I still wasn't fully awake yet. Maybe it was Nana, after all.

Alarmed at the thought that I just slammed the door on Nana's face and quickly growing troubled about the punishment that she'll do to me, I scrambled for the doorknob and opened it. "Sorry, Na--"

"So, can I undress you now?" A man stood in front of me, grinning brightly as his bright, blue eyes assessed me.

At what he said, I combusted. I began to splutter incoherent words, flushing hot as the stranger grew more and more amused until I finally shouted, "Y-You p-pedophile! I'm a minor--,"

"What's going on?" Behind me, Kieran appeared from the stairway. The front door wasn't in his line of sight, so he wasn't seeing the pedophile trying to pick me up. He was rubbing his eyes a little too harshly while his other hand was rubbing his stomach.

The relief that coursed through me made me say something that I would probably regret later on, "My savior! Save me, Kieran!"

"Oh, is Kieran there?" The pedo cut in, and I stepped back a little bit when he made a move as if to peek around the doorway, his eyes excited.

I turned to look at Kieran another time when I saw his eyes widened. Still bleary-eyed, half-asleep, half-naked, he pushed me out of the way and faced the pedophile on the front door, "What the fuck, Anton?"

The name rang a bell inside my head. The one from the phone call yesterday! My burning curiousity surpassed the mortifying experience a little while ago, and I tried to peek around his broad shoulders to get a good look at Anton.

I was too busy in solving the mystery that was Kieran Rhodes' life that my potato self wasn't coming out in full force, being this close to a bare-chested guy.

"There you are!" Anton greeted with a chirpy voice, not acting like Kieran just swore at him upon seeing him immediately, "I apologize for my sudden appearance but I..."

While Anton continued, Kieran blatantly ignored him and his head swiveled back to where I was, and he scowled down at me. His black hair was sticking up in different directions, but that didn't lessen the effect of his menacing look. In his thick, morning voice, he uttered, "Go away, Cecilia."
