"I'm going to kill you!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, before I went ahead and started throwing punches.

Each punch was deflected by his strong arms. All the while I was exerting tremendous energy, he just sat there looking amused and not looking like he was having a hard time deflecting my hits. It was making me so frustrated that I was gritting my teeth that was hard enough to maybe crush my own jaw.

"Is this a new game you invented?" Kieran asked, still effortlessly going around my hits like it was nothing. "'Cause it's not that enjoyable."

"You fu--," Before I could throw another one, someone held me back.

"What's wrong here?" Nana burst in the room, Frankie next to appear. Quinn had been the one holding me.

"That asshole ruined the uniform for my work! It was already so hideous and yet he made it looked more horrible than ever!"

"It's not hideous!" Frankie snapped.

"What uniform?" Nana said sharply, and I held out the uniform to her. After inspecting it, she asked, "What's wrong with it?"

I turned unbelieving eyes on her, "You don't see it? Nana!"

Frankie stepped in next to her, her eyes narrowed. When she took it in, she put a hand to her mouth to keep a laugh in.

Quinn let go of me to look at the uniform too.

"What is that?" Quinn said, "It's like a little girl's dress."

I nodded at what he said, glad that my brother could see my side. But I knew Nana's got the last say to everything, so I turned expectant eyes on her. She smiled, "Cecilia, it looks okay. I'm supposed to be mad that I didn't know that you already have a job until now, but I suppose this job will help you into socializing more."

I can't believe what I'm hearing. She's okay that I'm gonna be wearing a uniform that has now a heart-shaped hole right where my cleavage would be? This wouldn't be solved by just wearing something underneath to cover my skin, because the fabric was unlike any of my clothes. It wouldn't blend in!

My inner turmoil was unheard as she continued speaking, her voice taking on a more sharp tone. "But young lady, punching Kieran is not excused. Look at what you did to his lips! It's bleeding non-stop! Because of that, you're banned from eating your chocolates for three days."

"But Nana, he already has a busted lip before I even--"

"No buts," She said, giving me a sharp look. She turned to Kieran with a gentle smile, "Come on. Let's treat your mouth and have breakfast downstairs."

One by one they all filed out of my room, Quinn giving me a sympathetic pat on the head. Kieran was the last to leave. Before his whole body stepped out of the room, he looked back, a ghost of a smile on his ugly face.

"Payback's so sweet," He taunted.

I resisted the urge to strangle him. "That was hardly a payback asshole. I can survive for three days without my chocolate."

He raised an eyebrow, "Not if I eat it."

"Don't you--"

He slammed the door closed on my face.

I was left glaring at the door for a while, breathing hard and fuming with anger. Storming to my bed, I took my pillow, buried my face on it, and screamed with all my might.

"Why are you in such a bad mood, Cece?"

I looked up from my food to Honey, who was frowning in concern over me. Beside her, Carter nodded while gobbling his food down like it's the end of the world.
