I woke up in the middle of the night.

To the sound of Kieran clumsily entering my room.

Sitting up straight, I squinted my eyes against the dark. I could only see his silhoutte, but the way his usual gracefulness was gone from how he moved told me one thing.

He was drunk.

I only watched him, my eyes now used to the darkness, as he tried to find the mattress. Finally after randomly feeling up the place with his outstretched hand, he let his body fall down the mattress with a dull thud.

Crawling to the edge of my bed, I peeked at him. He was groaning quietly and he was trying to take his T-shirt off.

"Hey, you okay?" I managed to say after a few seconds.

At the sound of my voice he stopped. I saw how his eyes squinted to look up at me. "Hulk girl?"

"I told you a thousand fucking times to never call me that," I growled, the Hulk bursting out of me.

"What?" I saw him smirk. Even drunk he could still pull that off?

"Ugh, whatever," I mumbled, resolute in going back to sleep.

I'm trying to be nice but he's only making me want to punch him.

There was a few random sounds when suddenly, his foul breathe hit me square in the face and I jerked back, my eyes opening in shock as I registered his face right in front of me where he had his chin propped up on my pillow. I was seriously freaked out. His head looked like it's been decapitated from his body, and the way he was smiling at me was so unlike himself that I backed away from him until my back hit the wall.

"Hulk girl," He mumbled, reaching out to me with his hand.

I scooted farther from him. "Nice, little Kieran," I murmured repeatedly, my voice shaking with nervousness. "Go to sleep, little Kieran."

I heard him chuckle, "I'm not a kid. I may be drunk but I can still understand you."

I glared at him through the dark. "Then understand this Kieran; don't fucking touch me, you pervert."

He chuckled once more. He stopped, and I heard him making weird noises. "I think I'm going to—"

"Don't you dare!" As I said this I jumped at him, immediately pulling him by his arm and dragging him to the bathroom. I flicked the light on and guided him to the toilet, just in time before he puked. I made a face. I didn't need to hear or see this, so I went out of my room and into the kitchen. I poured water into a tall glass, and went back upstairs.

Kieran was sitting on the bathroom tiles when I came back. I squatted down next to him, "Here, drink."

"I don't wanna drink anymore," He mumbled, eyes still closed.

"Not alcohol, idiot. It's water."

Slowly he raised his hand but since I doubt it that he can hold it properly without dousing himself with it, I did the job of guiding it to his lips. He gulped the water quickly, and once done, I set the glass down a safe distance from him.

"Okay?" I asked.

His eyes fluttered open and met mine. For a moment, he just stared at me. Slowly I began to feel warm and jittery, my hands fidgeted to the side, and he was still staring. When I couldn't take it anymore, I said, "Do you want me to punch you in the face right now?"

His eyes closed again, but he chuckled. "I thought you've lost your marbles."

I glared at him. "What are you talking about?"
