"Leah, get up." August says, shaking my shoulder. "Yo' alarm been goin' off fa' ten minutes, bruh. Wake up."

"No." I whine, pulling the covers over my head.

"Leah, get up." He says, pulling the covers off of me. I curl up in a ball and grab one of my pillows, putting it over my legs. He takes it away and grabs my arms, pulling up so I am sitting.

"Aug, I wanna sleep." I pout.

"We got school." He reminds me, sitting beside me on the bed.

I hug his waist, laying my head on his lap. "I don't wanna go."

"Too bad." He taps my arm.

"Aug." I whine.

"Cut allat out. We goin shopping' afta' school." He reminds me.

I turn my head to look up at him. "You're still gonna come?" I ask.

"Yeah." He nods. "If you get up."

"Fine." I groan, letting go of him and sitting up. "Thank you."

"Ya' welcome, Leah." He nods.

I stand up, heading to my closet. August makes himself comfortable on my bed. "Did my mom make breakfast?" I ask.

"She's workin' on it. So hurry up." He closes his eyes, putting his arms behind his head.

I get my dress and shorts then head to the bathroom. I wear shorts or leggings under any dress or skirt, whether you can see them or not. In this case, the shorts will be hidden.

I quickly freshen up and do my hair and makeup, apply some deodarent and perfume. It was my favorite perfume, 'Tattooed' by Inky. I've been using it for years, not the same bottle if course. Its still my favorite, I keep buying it.

I step out the bathroom, hurrying to put my school books into my bag. I hear light snores coming from August and I smile. He already fell back asleep. Now I get to wake him up.
